Diego, interviewed Jolie Lauer,
Mayor. What the hardest part of her
job being mayor? “Picking the
boy/girl of the day,” she stated. “It’s
much harder than I expected, too.”
When questioned why she wanted
to become mayor, she stated, “Actually, I was not certain that I
wanted to be Mayor. But it’s fun.”
She wants to make certain the city
runs smoothly. Jolie is on Red
Break, so go hang out with our new
mayor!
Scripps Institution

Oceanography
Steven Veld, CEO of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, was asked about
his work. He says he got into Oceanography because he likes learning about
the ocean and he likes being in charge.
Scripps gives tours about oceans and
underworld animals. Shark teeth cost
$2.00 and tours cost $2.00.
KPRI
Ryder runs the radio station KPRI
102.1. His favorite thing to do is
rock out to their awesome music
choices. Ryder keeps his employees in line, which can be some hard
work sometimes. He loves his business, though.
