Northern Two lined salamander By Damien Kennedy The size of the salamander is 2 to 4 inches long. The salamander is yellow with black or brown lines and black spots. They live in the Northern Hemisphere mostly around rocks, steams and brooks. They also like woodlands. Eggs are attached under sides of rocks. It hides during the day beneath flat rocks and logs.
