Determine the capacity on a fork with dim. 200x80x2500 @ L.C. 1700 mm.
Taper 800 mm. SF 2,5.
Model description

Boundary conditions: Back surface of shank fixed in all directions.
Load case: 58.920 N applied at LC 1700 mm.
Material: HRO 774 (1307 Mpa)

Conclusion
The capacity of the fork is ok for a 12 ton truck in terms of strength under
the assumption that the elastic deformation of the fork (113 mm at the tip)
is acceptable for the customer.
