EPK - Ziggie Bless
Ziggie Bless aka juncsion
Rising international reggae artist Ziggie Bless aka juncsion, christened Livingston Lewis, hopes to make a difference with
conscious lyrics. Learning how music has an effect on people and inspired by the late reggae star Robert (Bob) Nesta
Marley, Ziggie Bless wants to emulate the positive effect that Bob Marley and his music had on the world.
Ziggie Bless has been writing positive music since he finished school in 1990. Raised in Trench Town, Jamaica,
Ziggie Bless learned the hardships of living in the ghetto and later migrated to the United States in 1992. Returning to
his roots back in Jamaica helped Ziggie Bless to launch his music career as he saw the need to express in music the
various situations that was unfolding before his eyes.
Ready to give fans what they have been waiting for, Ziggie Bless released his long anticipated debut album,
OVERSTANDING, on April 24, 2012. Boasting 14 tracks, OVERSTANDING, has a little something for everyone. The album
includes hit songs such as: No Love, a culture tune with a powerful message; Stop Wasting Time; and posing the
question on everyone’s mind in Or Wah? Ziggie Bless definitely shows his multifaceted style of making music. The
conscious song, Full Time, shows Ziggie Bless at his best.
“Overstanding” is a Jamaican term which means understanding at the utmost level. Because “under” is considered an
oppressive word, it is positively replaced with “over.” Now prepared to continue his journey of positive lyrics and
uplifting the oppressed, he looks forward to strengthening his fan base.

"Overstanding" by Ziggie Bless [Wize Wise Recording]
“I know what you're thinking --'Damn Achis, another Zigg[y/i/ie]'-- Yeah, another
one. But this one, Ziggie Bless, although far less well known than the other two is
one worth getting to know. I barely remembered who he was until I saw the tracklist
and noticed that the very first tune on, "Overstanding", his new album, 'Or Wah',
was the one which I remembered and he had at least one other which definitely
impressed. All I can say here is that Bless is TALENTED. His style is mostly Dancehall
(and it's his strength also) and hopefully that's where this album is focused and I'm
looking forward to taking it for a listen at some point.”

Mr. Glamarus & Ziggie Bless - 'Stop Wasting Time'
“From the sounds of this talented duo, they are 'not wasting time' with the progress
of their musical career. Their new song produced by Trevor Eliot under the Musical Ambassader label is a cool roots rock reggae
tune with an infectious melody.
Mr. Glamarus' harmonies compliment Ziggie Bless' hardcore dancehall sounding voice as he spits positive lyrics about being
progressive in life.
There is a void in reggae music that needs to be filled with positive uplifting songs. Mr. Glamarus and Ziggie Bless are going back to
that foundation sound that made people across the world fall in love with Jamaica's Indigenous sound.
This type of song is a step in the right direction towards cultivating a following in the European market where reggae music has been
doing exceptionally well. If they can maintain the current standard of their music, there is no limit to where it may take them.”
Ziggy Bless “Or Wah”
“With its many twists and turns, you sometimes never know if you're going up or
down in the cycle of life. New reggae single from Ziggy Bless, delivers social
commentary while asking many pertinent questions about life. The artiste also
speaks strongly on trying to keep his composure in a cut-throat industry and
delivers direct hits at those against young artistes making great progress.
“Where do we go from here - Ziggie Bless
In the first verse he makes it known that he cannot be bought and that he comes to
eliminate corruption, throughout the rest of the song the listener doesn't become
aware of what the resolve will be.
For the most part the song gives both Ziggy Bless and listeners an avenue to vent
and serves to empower some amidst any opposition they may encounter when
chasing their dreams.”
Upcoming reggae artist Ziggie Bless latest effort on the 'Wise Men' Produced 'Blem
Up riddim' has the potential to take him one step closer to becoming a household
name. The track entitled 'Full Time' is an outcry for better in Jamaican society and
the world at large, which is cleverly written and expertly executed. The subject
matter of this song will be easily received particularly with the current world
financial crisis.
Ziggie Bless' vocals 'Blem' into the cool easy-going roots rock reggae beat making it easy on the ears. This combined with the catchy
chorus should make it an instant radio favorite and have the potential of exposing him to the European reggae market.
This 'rising star' is definitely one to watch for the near future.”
