General Specifications - M-NPL75 and M-NP75
The M-NPL75/M-NP75 is sealed against surface and below grade
contamination. No cross-connections. Positive displacement action evacuates
the stored water that is held below the frost line (6 feet maximum bury)
through the riser pipe and exiting at the 3/4” outlet nozzle.
Outlet is protected by use of an ASSE 1011 compliant vacuum breaker that
remains attached during the use of a hose. Positive drain back will occur by use
of an air by-pass valve even when hose is attached.
No venturi is used. Positive flow is maintained at 4.5 gallons per minute at 25
psi inlet water. Best operation at 40-60 psi.
Field serviceable from above grade without digging for operating parts.
Recommend a shut-off device prior to the hydrant so that maintenance may be
done without shutting down entire area. All serviceable parts are available from
Murdock Super Secur.
All components are made of brass, stainless steel, or neoprene. All wear parts
are lubricated with food grade materials. Lead-free castings are used in all
waterways.
3/4” inlet with a 3/4” hose outlet standard.
Optional handles (Wheel, Lever). Lever handle standard full-open or adjustable
to automatic shut-off.
Potable, freeze resistant, year round use, post type hydrant.
ANSI/NSF-61 and ASSE 1057 Certified.
