ABOUT US.
THE COMPANY
The history of STC-Steyr is linked to the former STEYR-factories, which were producing bearings in the
Austrian “iron city” of Steyr as early as 1922.
Our success therefore is based upon the experience and the technical knowledge of former top members of
the STEYR-Corporation, who founded the STC-Steyr Company in 1989, thus taking the highly traditional name
of “Steyr” into a new age.
In addition to its expertise in production, the STC-Steyr Wälzlager Deutschland GmbH has emerged as a
distribution center in Berlin. From this location, the brand name “STC-Steyr®” has managed to establish
itself as a reliable partner in trade and industry.
As producer of bearings, our high quality standards allow us to meet customer demands and expectations
worldwide. We can now proudly look upon a steady client base consisting of OEM’s and commercial
enterprises. Our top quality products all carry the quality label “made in the EU”.
PRODUCTS
Our core expertise lies in the production of bearings for use in large or
heavy machinery. Spherical roller bearings, full complement cylindrical
roller bearings, ball bearings, housings, slewing rings, as well as
special types according to drawings are among our specialties.
PRODUCTION
Using dedicated joint ventures, STC-Steyr has high production capacities - primarily in the European area - at
its disposal. In addition, our flexible components purchase policy allows us to realize and implement short
notice customer demand promptly. After combining the components, and having passed strict and continuous quality control, a high quality “made in the EU” product leaves our factory. Special types are devised
in intensive and constructive cooperation with our customers, with the assistance of our experienced engineers. Initial samples and low volume production are a natural step for us before the customer gives us the
go-ahead for serial production.
QUALITY
The STC-Steyr Wälzlager Deutschland is certified in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
Using our quality management system, we regularly monitor the manufacturing sites, as well as assure the
compliance with all essential quality characteristics. Certification reports and material quality certificates
are documented within the company but can be provided to the customer if requested.
PACKAGING, SHIPPING & HANDLING
Our meticulous selection of certified shipping agencies, in addition to top quality packaging, guarantee
a smooth and frictionless delivery and provide for long term and long lasting storage
capabilities of our products for the customer. Priority shipping and express
