The
ABOUT THE CAMP
Join us at the Northtown Center in Amherst, New York,
home of the Amherst Skating Club, as we explore the
ARTISTRY of figure skating. On ice classes, six freestyle
sessions per day, and off ice dance classes will be featured.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Lessons are available from the professional staff of the
Amherst Skating Club. For availability and coaching fees,
go to Amherstskatingclub.org. Guest coaches and their
students are WELCOME!

THE ART OF SKATING CLASS
New this summer! The “Art of Skating” is an on-ice production that
will be developed for the low and high level skaters. The on ice piece
will be created by our “Art of Skating” team of coaches with classes
held both on and off ice. Choreographed to inspirational music,
performances of the “piece” by both the low and high level groups
group’s will be featured on the final day of the camp.
THE ART OF THE EDGE CLASS
Learn the “ART” of edgework in this on ice class. Performed to music,
the EDGE class will focus on the foundation of skating--”The Edge.”
Turns, flow, and stretch/turn out will be the focus of this class.
