below dock. The units are offeredwith mechanical
or hydraulicoperation(see below).
Deck and lip are constructedwith high strengthsteel
safetytread plate, 55000 psi (or better)minimum
yield. Extendedlife bumpersare moldedof first
qualityrubber.Bumperblocksare made of 5/16"
steel with a full length,reinforcingcentergusset.
Long life hinges includegreasefittingsthroughout.
SIMPLEMAINTENANCEAND ADJUSTMENTS

Properlyinstalledand operated,periodiclubricationis
the only routinemaintenance.On mechanicalmodels,
counterbalanceis easily adjustablevia nuts locatedon
the liftingmechanism.On hydraulicmodels,a front
mountedcontroladjustsdescentspeed. Hydraulicfluid
is commonlyavailable,Dexron lI@ATF.

For an existingdock withouta minimum8" channel,
an optionalramp approachplate or formed angle from
POWERAMPis highly recommended.For new
construction,the levelershould be welded to a dock
edge channelwhich is embeddedin concreteand
securedby anchoringhooks as shown. lnstallation
drawingsare available.
