running a photo contest! We are trying to spot more local talent
and give some recognition to our photographers.
There's a lot of great photographers out there and we need to
get them in touch with cosplayers to really show off the art of

Thanks Luke at Kotaku for sharing the photos! I had a ton of fun shooting for a few hours at Emerald City Comicon on Friday, hopefully
next year I can attend all three days and take photos of all the epic costumes there.
In the meantime, Danquish totally deserves the post!

Cosplayer: Tarah-Rex Cosplay
Character: Elsa
Series: Frozen
I was lucky enough to work with the amazingly talented Tarah-Rex Cosplay, shooting her very detailed Elsa costume. We shot at Whistler
(1.5 hour drive up a mountain) during the golden hour (1 hour before sunset). It was cold and light was fading but we managed to get a
good set done. I'll be working on the photos and should have them all up in an album over the next few days
