THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the 2013 Blood Drives a success! We did it again! There were over 1,000 Blood Drive
participants in 2013! The University Hospital Blood Bank collects the donations at the RRA Blood Drives. As the largest Level
1 trauma center in San Antonio, the hospital always needs to maintain an adequate blood supply. They count on SwRI for our
Blood Drives six times a year. Let’s continue to increase the number of donors in 2014! If only a few more people participated
each time, many more lives in our community could be saved. Mark your calendars for the 2014 RRA Blood Drives: February 13,
April 10, June 12, August 14, October 16, and December 11.
