PurFit Care Instructions
After removing the fiberfill and silicone insert, the Amoena PurFit Adjustable Enhancer should be hand washed with
a gentle detergent, then laid flat to dry. The silicone shell should be cleaned using the general cleaning instructions
for breast forms as mentioned above.

Cleanse your chest wall thoroughly with Amoena Skin Preparation Tonic. Afterwards, make sure the area is
completely dry. The cleaner and drier your skin, the better the breast form will adhere. Please do not touch
the adhesive surface of the breast form as this may affect adhesion.

1. Slide your bra
strap down over your
shoulder and slip your
arm out. Lean forward.
2. Using the hand
on your non-operated
side, take hold of your
bra strap and pull the
bra cup away from
your body.
3. Take the breast
form in your other
hand and, still leaning
forward, place it in the
cup of your bra. Make
sure that the breast
form sits perfectly in
the cup of your bra.
5. Place your free hand
on the outside of the
bra cup. Slowly stand
upright, pressing the
breast form in the cup
carefully into place on
your body.
6. Pull your bra strap
up over your shoulder
and press the breast
form once more to
make sure it is firmly
attached.
7. Check the fit. If
the position of the
breast form needs to
be adjusted, simply
remove the breast form
and reposition.
1. Grasp the breast
form with one hand
and lean forward until
you feel the weight of
the breast form in
your hand.
2. Starting at a point
furthest from your scar
area, pull the breast
form carefully away
from your body.
3. If the adhesive
surface accidentally
sticks together during
removal, it can be easily separated by holding
under running water.
4. The fingertips
should be placed as
close as possible to
the edge of the breast
form.
5. Please be careful
with longer fingernails
– they might damage
the film.

the length of time the adhesion lasts. For a long lasting

Technology
This breast form is available in two different options,
according to the breast form tissue which you need to match
when fitting. Styles 396 and 397 have a softer front layer and
a firmer back layer, which matches the drape of a smaller
breast. Extremely soft to the touch, they also offer a weight
reduction of around 10% compared to standard silicone
forms. In all other Natura forms the layers are reversed: the
back layer is softer than the front layer, which matches the
physical properties of a larger breast.

formulated for the Contact adhesive
surface and contains no oil-based
substances. It is also suitable for
cleaning non-adhesive breast forms.
It is free of PEG/PEG derivatives,
dyes and parabens.
Amoena Skin Preparation Tonic
Wipes ensure gentle and thorough
cleansing of the skin. They remove
dead skin cells and should always
be used before wearing the Amoena
Contact breast form for the best
adhesion. The new formulation is
very mild to sensitive skin and free of
preservatives, dyes and perfumes.
Amoena newly re-formulated Skin
Balance Gel-Cream is developed
especially for women who wear the
Amoena Contact breast form and
contains moisturizing nutrients,
yet it will not affect adhesion of
the breast form. The gentle Skin
Balance Gel-Cream has been
dermatologically tested and contains
natural ingredients such as avocado
oil, hamamelis and bisabolol (the
active substance of chamomile), and
arginine along with vitamins like provitamin B5 and vitamin E. It is free
of preservatives or dyes, PEG/PEG
derivatives and paraffin (mineral oil).
For the best adhesion, use the
Amoena Soft Cleanser with the
Amoena Soft Brush.

Breast Form Care Instructions and Warranty
Amoena recommends daily cleaning to ensure breast forms
and symmetry shapers remain in good condition.
Breast forms other than Amoena Contact should be cleaned
with a gentle soap, such as the Amoena Soft Cleanser (see
pg.26) and lukewarm water. The form can be dried with a
soft cloth or towel.
The use of talcum powder and body lotions on or around
the area where the breast form is placed should be avoided.
When not in use, the breast form should be kept in the
cradle provided in the soft carrying case or breast form box.

TIP: Women with a small underbust tend towards full cup forms,
women with a large underbust tend towards shallow cup forms.
Once the correct breast form size is determined, continue by
selecting the cup form. Then, compare the pictures in the
corresponding row on the left with the profile of the woman’s
remaining breast while she is wearing a bra and select the best
match.
Women’s breasts not only differ in cup size and band size, but
also in cup forms. In order to achieve the closest fit, Amoena
offers three different cup forms. These are designated with the
numbers 1-3 (corresponding to shallow, average and full cup
forms) in the breast form name. For example Amoena Contact 2S
is an average form.

These charts are only a guide. For a perfect fit, size
up or down as needed.
1. First determine the underbust measurement in inches
to get the band size.
2. Then determine the half overbust measurement in
inches and multiply by two to get the cup size.
3. Determine the best bra size by looking at the charts below.
Underbust measurement:
While the woman is wearing a bra and
with arms lowered, measure around the
torso directly under the her breast where
the bra band is located. Keep the tape
straight and firmly in place.
Half overbust measurement:
Then measure from the middle of
her chest over the fullest part of the
remaining breast to the center of
her spine.

Cup
• Is she overflowing the cup either at the center front, the
underarm or under the band? If so, try a larger cup.
• M ake sure she fills out the top of the cup. Soft breast
tissue can puddle down in the cup. If so, try a smaller or
more shallow bra style.
Band
• The band should be snug, but not tight.
• M ake sure the band (front and back) is parallel to the floor
or lower in the back.
• If breast tissue is slipping out below the band, try a size
that is “down-in-the-band, up-in-the-cup.”
