International Study Tour – Dubai
TIMSR arranged an International Study Tour for its
students to Dubai in February 2014. This initiative
was taken by the Institute to give an international
exposure to our students by visiting the Industries
in Dubai. The students got a chance to understand
the manufacturing, operational, marketing, financial
and HR aspects of business in the Middle East
Students visited the Murdoch University and
discussed the education system there and had
discussions with the Academic Co-ordinator at the
University. Students also conducted a market
survey in local areas to understand the business
activities in Dubai.
Students visited the Burj Khalifa , Jumeriah Beach , Al
Arab Hotel and also enjoyed a desert Safari with
camel rides and car rides .
This international visit enabled the students to
understand the business scenario in the
International context. The socio cultural and legal
aspects of business in Dubai which is a major
business hub of the Middle East was understood
by the students. TIMSR plans to continue with the
International Study Tours for the coming academic
years .
