The Auctioneers are paying for the Transfers—including Background Checks on Handguns. There is a Minimum 48 Hours Holding Time on Handguns. Out-of-State Buyers can Register Long Guns at the Auction. Out-of-State Buyers of Handguns must have them Transferred to an FFL Dealer in their Home State. Illinois State Rules will be followed for their residents. NO Firearms will be Handed to the Buyers Until the Registration Process has been Completed. FFL Dealers (including Curio & Relics) must Furnish a Copy of their FFL License. Blackpowder guns & Guns Manufactured Prior to 1899 are Exempt. These guns are noted in the Catalog right next to the Lot Number as “No FFL”. Something New this Year: Lot Numbers 211, 212 & 213 are Class 3 FFL because of the Suppressors. If you are not a Class 3 FFL dealer, you must Register these devices with the BATF. Freedom Industries of Abrams, WI will be handling the Class 3 Registrations. The Auctioneers are paying the service fee, but the Buyer will have to pay for the $200 Stamp from the BATF.
