The city is more than eight and a half centuries old. Moscow is one of the most beautiful cities in Russia and the world. With its parks, museums, monuments, great buildings, Moscow is a city of contrasts. This is the “third Rome” and “big village”, and a place for the elite and for everybody. Moscow has a vibrant nightlife and idyllic residential areas. We could talk about Moscow and its sights, but it is better to see it for yourself. The venue of the conference is Izmailovo Alfa Hotel. After a 15 minute drive from the historical city-center, the visitors are immersed in an atmosphere of serenity which contributes to both recreation and serious business meetings. Izmailovo Alfa Hotel is conveniently located in the green area of Izmailovo park. It is situated close to the Silver-Grapes ponds, Pokrovsky Cathedral, the “Vernissage”. You will need only 15 minutes to drive to the city center. And 50 meters away there is a metro station called “Partizanskaya”. All these features attract both tourists and businessmen. The address of Izmailovo Alfa Hotel is 71 A, Izmaylovskoe shosse, 105613, Moscow, www.alfa-hotel.ru/en. 3 RADECS 2015 EXHIBITION MANUAL Transport Airport Sheremetyevo (SVO) Airport is located 13 km north-west from Moscow. It has 5 terminals: Sheremetyevo B and Sheremetyevo C, Sheremetyevo D, Sheremetyevo E and Sheremetyevo F. Regular comfortable buses run between these terminals. Domodedovo (DME) Airport is located 22 km south-east from Moscow. It is the largest and the most promising Russian airport. It holds the leading position among the Moscow area airports in terms of passenger traffic. Vnukovo (VKO) Airport is located 10 km south-west from Moscow. This airport was recently renovated and is now one of the most modern ones in Moscow. Taxi You can go to the official taxi counters at Arrivals and take a taxi for 2000 RUB You can also phone any Moscow taxi operator and order a taxi. It'll cost about 1 650 - 3 100 RUB. When you walk out of Arrivals there will be many drivers offering you a taxi; they are unofficial taxi drivers. They can charge you a double price, about 4 000 RUB. On working days at rush hours (from 07:00 to 11:00 & 17:00 to 21:00) it may take you 3 - 4 hours to get to the center of Moscow, so it is better to use Aeroexpress.
