SEPTEMBER 2008 31 A loneness is the Everest of meditation, the highest sunlit peak. Once you start enjoying aloneness, there is no end to where your joy stops growing. It goes on growing, it goes on spreading; it seems as if the whole universe is full of joy and full of fragrance. -Osho W hen the flower opens up, the fragrance has to be released. Whether anybody comes to know of it or not is immaterial. It is not a need, it is overflowing joy. When there is overflowing love it is compassion. -Osho 32 OSHO WORLD W hen the seed comes to blossom, only then will you know what was hiding in that seed. So many flowers -- such a small seed -so much green foliage, such a beauty. But you know only when things become actual. -Osho A loneness is a flower, a lotus blooming in your heart. Aloneness is positive, aloneness is health. It is the joy of being yourself. It is the joy of having yourown space. -Osho SEPTEMBER 2008 33 HAPPENINGS T Sonal Mansingh's expressive eyes and graceful gestures brings alive Krishna Leela Inauguration of Krishna paintings by Surabhi Bali (centre) The Chief Guest Sonal Mansingh and the Guest of Honour Raj Loomba 34 OSHO WORLD he launch of Krishna Week at Osho World Galleria was a multidimensional event. An exhibition of paintings by Surabhi Bali on Krishna, the launch of fashion garments in the colours of Krishna, captivating classical numbers by eight-year old Ishita Anirudh in devotion of Krishna, sharing a commitment to assist poor widows and a Krishna Leela dance ballet seemed like the multi-dimensional facets of Lord Krishna. The Chief Guest was renowned dance exponent Sonal Mansingh and the Guest of Honour was Raj Loomba, the Founder Trustee and Chairman of The Loomba Trust recently honoured with a CBE by Queen Elizabeth of Britain. At the start, Ishita wowed a packed Galleria with her Meera Bhajans and became the little darling of the event. Mr Loomba shared his personal inspiration of his father's concern in assisting the needy and his widowed mother's courage in bringing up and educating her children that inspired him to establish a trust in her name to help widows worldwide. He quoted Osho's insight about sharing instead of charity - a revolutionary concept. India's ace cultural czarina Sonal Mansingh beseeched Osho's presence for her ballet on Krishna's exploits as a naughty child who steals butter. Her expressive eyes and graceful gestures brought the entire drama and action alive for all. She was ably accompanied by a singer and two musicians and all of them made the event quite memorable.
