MOMODESIGN HISTORY
In 1981 following MOMO’s success as a leading business in luxury car accessories, MOMODESIGN was
founded, in order to offer to the company a Style Centre specialized in research and design development.
Since the very first years, MOMODESIGN has focused
on research activity in car design and development of ideas and innovative projects in lifestyle accessories, creating
a product line that helped building the image of the brand.
The patrimony it inherited was the image created by
Momo, a heritage handed down over the years, closely connected to the racing world, especially to F1 and Ferrari, with products based on design and avant-garde products for cars with a sporty and technological imprint.
During the early ’80, the technological DNA contributed with
the creation of an accessory line for men realized with highly
innovative materials: carbon fiber, titanium and magnesium,
used for the creation of the first watches and sunglasses.
A choice that the market proved to understand and appreciate.
At the end of the nineties, after selling out the group
MOMO to an American company, Marco Cattaneo, the Managing Director, decided to leave the group and to create
MOMODESIGN, undertaking with the fundamental support
of his son and daughter Paolo and Eleonora, a new challenge: to transform MOMODESIGN in an independent and international brand with its own identity and philosophy.

For the first time the historic logo, a stylized steering-wheel,
icon of MOMODESIGN’s know-how, is connected to the brand.

F., historically inspired by the helmets of helicopter pilots, has been renewed,
Fighter,
strengthening the combination technology and style. Completely redesigned by MOModel F. is enriched with functional aesthetic details:
MODESIGN’s Style Center, the Fighter
an adjustable external visor in optical class, an integrated sun visor, the new visor
support screw and the new removable inner padding in anti-bacteriological fabric.

- Inner padding removable and washable (except neck roll). Cheek pads in different thicknesses.

silver ion treatment for an effective bacteria-static action.
- Spherical visor with anti-scratch treatment and absorption of radiation up to 400 microns (UV absorber) lined in leather and with supports in aircraft carbon.

The Avio, aeronautically inspired, is the first MOMODESIGN helmet totally made out of
composite material to guarantee higher safety standards and extreme lightness. A model with a dynamic and aggressive style emphasized by an exclusive design of the shell.
