“This is definitely a milestone within modern skincare”, says Lars Fredriksson,
the man behind Verso Skincare and the developer of the substance Retinol 8.
Retinol has, for a long time, been the most proven effective substance in anti aging
skincare products. A well-known side effect however is that it can irritate the skin.
Another drawback is that it should not be used in direct sunlight.
Retinol 8 contains a new Vitamin A acid derivative that is 8 times more potent than
traditional retinol, and in addition, it is stable* and gentle for the skin. It was developed
by the skincare company Selego AB and has been tested in comprehensive clinical
trials. The skincare series Verso, based on Retinol 8, was created by Lars Fredriksson who
is behind skincare brands such as Swedish Skincare System (voted face cream of the
year in 2009**), Restylane Skincare and the anti aging series Jabu’she. Lars Fredriksson:

The effects of retinol are well-known but what is new here is that this product can be
used in effective doses daily and in sunlight. Retinol 8 has a proven rejuvenating effect
on the skin and it works by making the skin cells mimic how younger cells behave. The
substance stimulates the production of collagen and increases the flow of nourishment
to the skin, which leads to improved skin elasticity, a more even skin tone and a
reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.”

Selego AB
Selego AB was started in 2011 by Lars Fredriksson and Anders Håkansson. The company
develops skincare products in collaboration with scientists and doctors, some of whom
come from the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. Aside from his
engagement in Selego AB, Anders Håkansson is also the CEO for the medical company
Evolan Pharma. Lars Fredriksson has a long background from the skincare industry,
where he developed great selling products Jabu’she, Swedish Skincare System and
Restylane Skincare. He previously worked for Adderma and Q-Med. Selego is located
in Danderyd outside of Stockholm.
