Ghantoot Transport and General Contracting L.L.C. - Roads Divsion
(GTGC) is a division of the prominent Ghantoot Group, with a
progressive and inspiring history spanning 31 years. First and
foremost, GTGC is a renowned road and bridge builder, responsible
for developing some of the renowned projects and landmarks in the
history of the United Arab Emirates. New concepts and the ability to

Since our establishment in 1985, Ghantoot Transport and
General Contracting L.L..C. (GTGC) has developed into an
established and well reputed name in the field of Civil, Electrical,
Marine and Transportation.
With ability par excellence Ghantoot Transport & General
Contracting L.L.C., wouldn’t have achieved the well-deserved
success without the diligence, perseverance and indomitable

Resources
GTGC employs a wide range of technical and management experts who
exude professionalism and thrive upon it, enabling the establishment to
reach our expectations in all aspects of contracting and on-site project
management. Our experts cover the realm of Civil Engineering,
Manpower Management, On-site Supervision, Materials Procurement,
Research and Client Relation Executives.
Our Resource Management division is responsible for planning and
directing all phases of human resources namely: employment,
placement, retention, evaluation, development/training, employee
benefits, wage and salary administration, employee relations and safety
compliance.
In keeping with our policy of complete reliability, we own and operate a
comprehensive fleet of heavy construction equipment. Our professionals
are well experienced in dealing with sophisticated equipments and
machineries like: cranes, bulldozers, shovels, rollers, trucks, trailers,
backhoes, finishers, graders, Laser Road Profilers and Falling Weight
Deflectometer. All equipments are periodically maintained and routinely
checked on a rotational basis to ensure optimum running performance
with minimized down time.
Construction
This department is in charge of the construction of roads, bridges, and post tensioned members as
well as procurement and installation. We handle all turn-key construction projects from initiation to
delivery with ease, contributed by our outstanding manpower.
Estimation & Tendering
This department deals with drawing out estimates for materials, machineries and manpower. Also
deals with preparation and submission of tenders, identifies target projects and markets in
coordination with the business development department and the tendering committee in order to
be aligned with the establishment’s strategic direction, goals and objectives.
Procurement
Partnering with the best suppliers and contractors in the region, we source appropriate and high
quality equipment and services; ensuring that they are procured at the best possible cost to meet
the needs of our clients in terms of quality, quantity, time, and location.
QA & QC
Quality control during the construction process is extremely important in order to safeguard the value of
our clients' best interests. Our construction inspection and verification requirements include inspections,
QC testing, QA testing, establishing construction acceptance criteria, construction audits, compliance
with handling, storage, packaging, preservation and delivery requirements; providing the client assurance
that the project is being built according to specifications.
Workshop & Facility
This unit mainly caters to the requirement of mechanical components required by the various
requirements of the project. The workshop has fairly advanced machinery and a team of skilled
personnel who can undertake fabrication of various sophisticated components.
QHSE
Under the directives of ISO 9001:2008, 14001 & OHSAS 18001, we are constantly improving our
integrated management system to reflect customer, corporate and legislative suggestions and
requirements. GTGC runs a Health and Safety Program system as part of its management plan to
enhance the overall quality of workforce for our employees. We also hold environmental awareness and
protection programs as part of our commitment to the environment.

GTGC treats each project as a one-of-kind unique experience. We learn something new and apply lessons learned from each project. This
accumulation of knowledge and expertise is the cornerstone of our reputation as a quality contractor.
GTGC has earned national recognition for operating an extensive fleet of over 500 trucks and light vehicles and 700 items of heavy equipments
such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavators, heavy rollers, cranes, milling machines, pumps, asphalt plants and equipments, road base
stabilizers and graders. To support this, GTGC has its own extensive plant and workshop facilities in the Western region and Musaffah.

The workshops include engine repair shops, machine shop, spray shop, stores, as well as offices.

customer service available. These relations allow GTGC to quickly mobilize and operate the equipment required to execute any given project.
