Guylian Milk & White Seahorse chocolates with

The most popular Guylian Sea Shell shape, the Sea Horse will be available in
a new flavour in 2013. These new Sea Horse chocolates will be made from
the best milk or white Belgian chocolate and filled with a smooth white
chocolate cream, flavoured with vanilla. The subtle flavouring of
Madagascan vanilla creates a completely new experience for Guylian
Chocolate lovers.
These new Sea Horses will not be marbled but will instead be available in a
choice of either plain milk chocolate shell, which is the most popular flavour
throughout the world, and plain white chocolate which is the new trend in
the chocolate market for 2013.

2. Why can Guylian chocolate melt?
Melting degree=quality indicator & taste sensation in mouth
Chocolate melts best at temperatures between 37-38 degrees C, which is
melting temperature of cocoa butter.
No additives. Only natural ingredients (high content of cocoa butter)
Important storage at 18°C (or 65°F)

Temperature shock or “greying”
2. Migration of cocoa butter fat to the exterior
3. Main cause: temperature fluctuations
4. The storage temperature of chocolate is very important. Temperatures of
18°C/65°F should be respected.
5. Fatbloom doesn’t affect the taste, but the shiny glow is fading.

A humidity shock or “whitening”

3. Main cause: humidity level too high
4. The storage standards are very demanding; constant temperature and
