Board-certified emergency physicians are on-site at Medical Center/Belvidere

of patients accessing our Emergency Department continues to rise. In fact, we
provided emergency care to more than 12,000 people in 2012 alone. Moving
forward, we have future plans to expand emergency services,

Since opening in 2009, the staff at Medical Center/Belvidere has enjoyed
connecting with people throughout Boone County and the surrounding region.

Boone County Fair and Healthy Living Expo, participating in the Hometown
Christmas Parade, or collecting and donating food for families
at Thanksgiving and Christmas, we appreciate opportunities
to meet and serve our friends and neighbors. Our community
contributions and sponsorships benefit many different local
organizations, events, and programs, including the Belvidere
Chamber Of Commerce, Relay for Life, Boone Schools Arts
and Entertainment, RAMP, March Of Dimes and the annual
Hispanic Festival.

Health, our health system will soon expand world-class cancer
services across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin when it
opens a new cancer center in October 2013.
