Océ ProCut Modular Tool System
Océ ProCut Digital Cutting Tables are a new generation of high quality
cutters manufactured by Zünd in Switzerland. They are highly accurate
systems built with longevity in mind. They feature a unique modular tool
system that contributes to smooth and efficient workflow.
Unique modular tool system
The unique modular tool system enables the operator to
mount up to three tools at the same time, to suit the needs
of any job. For simple jobs, cut speeds can be maximized by
removing nonessential tools – and excess weight – from the
carriage. For complex jobs, e.g. those requiring throughcutting and kiss-cutting, the ability to mount up to three
tools saves time by eliminating the need to stop the cutting
process in order to manually mount another tool.
Mount one, two or three tools at a time
Up to three tools can be mounted at one time on the cutter.
All tools fit in either of the two modules: the Universal
Module (UM) or the Routing Module (RM). Changeover
times are minimized. A unique automatic initialization
feature makes tool set-up fast and reliable.
Decide what works best for you
For some applications, you might need two tools at one time.
For example, to cut decals, you can mount the cutting tool
and the kiss-cutting tool on the carriage and production will
move seamlessly from one tool to the other.
2
If your priority is productivity, you want to minimize the
weight on the carriage. In this case, simply mount only
the tool modules you need. With Océ ProCut, removing
a tool module takes only a few seconds. If your priority
is simplicity for the operator, simply leave the different
tools in place, whatever the job. Océ ProCut Software will
automatically select the right tool for each job.

Standard tools and applications
Universal cutting tool
Kiss-cutting tool (vinyl)
For through-cutting materials up to
a thickness of approximately 3 mm
/ 1/8”.

With variable knife pressure, this
tool is ideally suited for kiss-cutting
thin materials to a liner. Materials
up to 3 mm / 1/8” can be cut
– most at maximum speed.

Electric oscillating tool (EOT)
Routing module (1kW)
Ideal for cutting soft and mediumdensity materials up to 28 mm / 1”
thick.
Exceptional speed, productivity
and versatility distinguish this 1kW
router. It is designed for routing
hard, dense materials up to a
maximum thickness of 26 mm /1”
and softer materials up to 50 mm
/2” thick. Thinner, rigid materials
up to 5 mm / 3/16” thick can be
routed considerably faster than with
conventional CNC routers.

cardboard and plastic materials up
to 7 mm / 1.4” thick.
The DRT is designed to cut fibrous,
porous materials such as fabric,
technical textiles and composites.
With its range of several creasing
wheels, the Type 2 creasing tool
(near left) can be used to crease
or score materials such as paper,
carton, polypropylene and PVC
materials.

With the V-cut tool you can create
3 dimensional structural designs.
It is ideal for cutting extremely
rigid sandwich board materials
at 15˚, 22.5˚, 30˚ and 45˚ angles
on materials up to 16 mm / 5/8”,
depending on material density.
More powerful than the electric
oscillating tool, the pneumatic
oscillating tool can cut denser,
tougher and thicker materials up to
50 mm / 2”.
