Utmost versatility and upgradability
Océ DigiDot technology uses drop-on-demand inkjet
printheads to jet drops of ink only when and where they’re
needed. The extremely small drop sizes produced by Océ
DigiDot print heads enable higher quality images, smoother
halftones and stunning color with less ink and less waste.
Designed to set a new benchmark for production color
printing, the Océ JetStream series is available in five
configurations. As a result, your printing requirements
determine your workflow speed – not your system’s ability
to keep up.
Another key advantage of Océ DigiDot technology is the
ability to vary dot sizes, which enables users to create images
with different density ranges to optimize quality levels for
individual jobs and media types. Flexibility to vary dot sizes
also enables multi-level printing of photographs and halftones
that require richer grayscales, contour-free gradients and better
reproduction of fine details.
Océ JetStream technology is available as a single-engine two-up
simplex or one-up duplex machine or in a twin configuration
for two-up duplex with support for monthly duty cycles of up
to 86 million images. Any JetStream printer is field-upgradeable
to the next level of speed and volume, guaranteeing a genuine
growth path and investment protection. All configurations have
small footprints, enabling users to gain productive capacity,
while incurring less upfront investment and lower operational
costs. In addition, an integrated MICR capability allows users to
print convenience and full-color checks with complete reliability,
security and error recovery capabilities.
Either way, the smaller dot size requires a lower drying
temperature that consumes less energy and reduces paper
distortion to deliver higher quality output. The result?
