Summer in Genialistid Club
Genialistid Club
www.genklubi.ee
Genialistid Club is a unique initiative
without a deadline in the Lutsu Theatre House. The club unites diverse
cultural events - plays and concerts,
film nights and lectures. The bandwagon of serial events has started off
successfully, new ones will be started:
„Selection of Academics“, „From upon
Pillows“, „Band Camp“ and „Author’s
Song“ go on, the autumn festival is
being prepared, „Selection of Theatre
People“ – a modification of „Selection of Academics“ –, and „Patterns
of World“ will be pulled off. What
the summer brings, noone knows,
not even GenClub. Let’s see what
will happen. The whole of GenClub
is impossible to express in words. At
least half has to remain a surprise. So,
attention!

‘’Museum Theatre’’

The photo artist displays photo series
shot in Estonian and European memory institutions (history, nature and

in the idiosyncrasy of the material
recorded there and its display, relations of artificial worlds created in

Kiiler’s camera is subjective and it is a
separate question whether her photos would suit to represent the institution’s official self-image. But this is
not her purpose. Being inevitably also
in the role of a documenter, her view
involves more of a director’s sharp
eye for creating interesting mise en
scčnes with new characters.
