SCUBA TANK FILLING AND STORAGE Tank R ack s , Fill B aths & D ive Resource C enters Brownie’s designs, builds and installs a variety of scuba tank storage and filling stations to meet almost any need. From the most basic tank racks intended solely to eliminate rolling on deck to the most elaborate dive support stations equipped with integrated flat screen monitors and fill whips, we have a solution to make diving easier and more efficient onboard. As with Brownie’s other custom designed systems, a representative will assess each customer’s diving needs and available space to ensure a unique, attractive and functional product. Some examples of available options are fill baths, vertical and horizontal storage bays, repair benches, equipment rinse sinks and fill controls. Installations HIGH PRESSURE STORAGE/CASCADE SYSTEMS High P ressure Tank Storage Brownie’s designs storage systems for air, oxygen, nitrox, helium or any other specialized gas needed on your vessel. Valves, regulators, plumbing and rack construction requirements are all taken into consideration at the earliest stages of the process. The result is a system integrated into your vessel. Storing large volumes of air, nitrox or other gas allows you to fill your scuba or firefighting scba tanks much more quickly and efficiently than filling directly from the compressor. For instance, filling 4 standard scuba tanks on our YP55 system would take approximately 52 minutes. By contrast, filling the same 4 cylinders from a cascade system would take less than 5 minutes. This is especially important for firefighting considerations. # of Storage Cylinders GUIDE TO CASCADE SYSTEMS 2 3 4 5 6 Total Volume of stored gas (cubic feet @ 4500 psi) 888 1332 1776 2220 2664 # of direct SCUBA fills without running compressor (Cascade fill with control valve per storage cylinder) 6 12 17 22 27 # of direct SCUBA fills without running compressor (Bulk fill from storage without cascade control) 4 6 8 10 12 Actual gas consumed by cascade filling (cubic feet) 400 800 1133 1467 1800 Compressor Model Free Air Displacement Time to recharge banks to 4500 PSI (minutes) YP45DF 4.1 CFM 98 195 276 358 439 YP55DF 5 CFM 80 160 227 293 360 YP75DF 7 CFM 57 114 162 210 257 YP135DF 11.1 CFM 36 72 102 132 162 Brownie’s M A R I N E G R O U P 940 NW First Street Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33311 Telephone: 954.462.5570 Fax: 954.462.6115 email: [email protected] Stock Symbol: BWMG w w w . b r o w n i e s m a r i n e g r o u p . c o m
