Set in 200 acres of beautiful woodland Jollydays makes a spectacular and unique venue for your wedding. It may feel like you’re
miles from anywhere but it’s only 25 minutes from the centre of
York.
Wedding locations don’t come any more desirable than this...
When we tied the knot in the mid 90’s we scoured the land for a unique
venue that would reflect our stylish yet informal sensibilities. I remember
running battles about pink napkins, coronation chicken and pastel carnations.
It was so exhausting and depressing, we ended up doing it all ourselves
(right down to Christian making my bouquet!)
So when we decided to launch Jollydays as a wedding venue we incorporated all we’ve learned, not just from our own wedding but also from many
thousands of guests we have entertained over the years. We have assembled
a formidable team of people to help your dreams become a reality. So if
you’re looking for something unique, personal and utterly memorable - we

A little about Jolly days...

When it comes to unique wedding venues Jollydays leads the
field. We are superbly located in the middle of the UK.
Only 8 miles from historic York (approximatley one and a half to two hours by
train from London), on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds - or Hockney country
as it has become known. The Moors National Park, the Heritage Coastline and
the Howardian Hills are all within easy reach.
If your guests wish to take advantage of our quirky on site accommodation we
have three different tents available.

We have a range of different self catering tents available for
guests who wish to enjoy the woodland for a weekend.
7 x deluxe lodge tents (each sleeping six)

This accommodation can sleep up to 118 in total. All tents have their own woodburners and the huge deluxe and luxury tents have four poster beds, flushing loos
and roll top baths.

Available any time...
If a woodland wedding appeals to you, but you don’t want to
take the whole 200 acre woodland, this is the package for you.
Suitable for up to 100 guests (more by arrangement). This package includes the use
of our delightful outdoor ceremony space and our purpose built marquee area - suitable for a marquee or kata tents of your choice.
The package also includes luxurious loo facilities (no nasty chemical loos here!).

Big Chill Weekend...
Available March to November (excluding holiday weekends and
school holidays).
If you want to extend your festivities across a weekend then Jollydays is the perfect
choice. This package includes everything you find in Delicious Day as well as ex-
clusive use of the 200 acre woodland and its accommodation for you and your guests
(you can recoup the accommodation costs from your guests).

Guests arrive at 4PM the night before and could enjoy a hog roast or a buffet around
the camp fire whilst excitment builds about the big day.
The wedding will take place in our peaceful ceremony space and you will have a choice
of 2 sites available for a Marquee, Kata or Yurt of your choice - this option can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Guests can enjoy a leisurely breakfast on Sunday morning before the journey home...

If two days simply isn’t enough or you wish to get married during our peak holiday
season, then this three day blow out will suit you perfectly.

It has all the Delicious Day and the Big Chill Weekend has to offer - but with the
added benefit of an extra day - either before or after the ceremony.
A range of different activities can be organised for guests, e.g bushcraft and archery
on site or beginners polo or a four wheel drive experience off site. However you
choose to organise your weekend it will prove to be a magical and unforgettable occassion.
