• A woman was getting ready for
work as usual, but when she went to
put on her 18” gold rope necklace,
she couldn’t find it. So she decided
to go with the 24” chain. Couldn’t
find it either. Now, this is one of the
women that has a place for everything and keeps everything in it’s
place. So she opened her earring
drawer and discovered several earring sets were also gone. Her husband and her son said they hadn’t
seen or moved any of her jewelry,
but then her son told her about the
neighbor, who had come over to see
his BB gun he had gotten for Christmas. The man returned a little while
later and lured the boy out of the
home, again to see the BB gun and
to let his son see it. In the meantime,
the woman believes that the neighbor’s girlfriend entered her home
while her son was distracted by the
man. It should be pointed out that
this neighbor on several occassions
tried to sell her husband brand new
tools he’d gotten somewhere, and
that the man had never held a job.
He’s since moved out because he
couldn’t pay his rent.
• Around 2:30pm, an Officer clocked
a white Expedition at 62mph in the
45mph zone of Hwy 21 northbound
and made a traffic stop. The young
man explained that he was on his
way to school and was in a hurry.
The Officer noticed that the man’s
hands were shaking and that his eyes
were bloodshot and red. Further, he
could smell the odor of marijuana on
the boy. He detained him to write
his speeding ticket, giving backup
Officers time to get there with the
Department’s K-9. The boy then admitted he’d just finished smoking a
little dope, and that there was none
left in his vehicle. The Officer had him
take the sobriety test, which the boy
failed, so he was taken to the Police
Department on DUI-Drugs charges.
The Officer requested a blood draw,
but the EMS tech said that a parent had to be present in order to
do that. The boy’s father was called
and showed up soon. The situation
was explained to him, and he counseled his son privately, then said his
son would be happy to pee in a cup,
but he wouldn’t allow his blood to
be drawn. So the boy was cited for

(I mean the Big Nasty Mud Run!)
By Angie Usher
http://peningodshand.blogspot.com/
There is a new style of race that
is exploding in popularity across
the nation… it’s the mud run. This
hybrid of Marine training and adventure races attracts participants
of almost all ages and people from
almost every walk of life. The
multi-mile event mixes militarystyle obstacles with mud and water pits that challenge competitors
from the serious athlete to the stayat-home mom.
On Saturday, April 6th, one of
the largest mud runs in the Savannah area will be held at the Big
Nasty ATV park in Bloomingdale.
The Big Nasty Mud Run is a fun
family event that is sponsored by
the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). “While most mud
runs are sponsored by companies
for profit, the Big Nasty Mud Run
is unique in that 100% of the proceeds from this event will fund the
FCA and other area non-profit organizations,” said Steve White, a
Savannah area huddle leader for
Team FCA Endurance Savannah.
“This is not a business event. The
funds raised by this event will help
sponsor ministries of the FCA, the
local YMCA, as well as a mission
trip that has been planned by Gateway Church in Pooler,” explained
White.
The Fellowship of Christian
Athletes is the largest Christian
sports organization in the world.
For sixty years, the national nonprofit sports ministry has been
dedicated to ministering to and
through various endurance sports,
that includes swimming, biking,
running, walking, skiing, paddling, weight-lifting, as well as
other sports.
“The FCA serves to unite
Christian athletes and their supporters who desire to share the
reason why they do what they do,
and why they are the people they
are,” said White. “The medium of
athletics is a powerful way through
which they (athletes) may impact
the world for Jesus Christ as they
compete, fellowship, and reach out
to share their faith with other athletes,” he continued.
The Big Nasty Mud Run is just
one of many outreach events that
the FCA sponsors. All over the
country, the organization challenges coaches and athletes from professional, college, high school, junior high school, to youth levels to
use their athletic abilities to make a
difference for Jesus Christ.
The FCA serves to equip, empower and encourage them through
Bible studies, prayer support, discipleship, mentoring, resources,
outreach events, and retreats. Their
campus outreach ministries include Drug-Free programs, school
assemblies, and the annual Fields
of Faith event. The FCA also sponsors camps and community ministry projects by partnering with
churches, businesses, and parents
to invest in coaches, athletes, and
youth sports teams.
Last year, 1800 people participated in the Big Nasty Mud Run.
This year, organizers anticipate

5 Reasons Barack Obama is a Creep
By John Hawkins
Is Barack Obama
the
Vladimir
Lenin of American Presidents?
No, Lenin was
competent
in
an evil sort of
way. Obama is more like Leonid
Brezhnev: an ultra left-wing, belligerent doofus who isn’t laughed at
by the general population primarily because the mainstream media
liberals say nice things about him
out of fear that they’ll end up in a
gulag if they’re too harsh.
Of course, we don’t have gulags, but reporters who criticize
Obama would be snubbed by
their peers at cocktail parties in
Manhattan and Old Town, which
seems almost as bad to liberals.
This is how a narcissist who scores
at “Nixon after Watergate” on the
presidential likability scale can be
perceived by much of the public
as a long suffering, bipartisan nice
guy. The real picture is less Van
Gogh and is more Andy Warhol, if
Andy Warhol were a five year old
coloring with cow dung crayons.
1) Obama NEVER stops campaigning: Barack Obama almost seems
disinterested in actually governing the country. Apparently the
only thing he does passably well
is campaign; so he has just decided to do that. His agenda, from
Obamacare, to free birth control,
to amnesty for illegals has nothing
to do with the country’s immediate problems and everything to do
with politics.
This is a big part of the reason
that Washington has become even
more nonfunctional than usual under Obama -- because he ALWAYS
acts as if there’s an election next
week and winning it by trying to
make the GOP look bad is his first
priority.
2) What he says is completely unrelated to what he does: Barack
Obama is like an alcoholic who
pledges to quit drinking and then
gets hammered every night. Afterwards, his doting family full of
enablers (played by the part of
the mainstream media) pats him
on the back and talks about what
a great example he is for other
people because he pledged to quit
drinking.
This is how Barack Obama can
demand a sequester and then turn
around and run against it or yammer on incessantly about transparency while he stonewalls on Fast
and Furious. We’re talking about a
man who’s worth nearly 10 million
dollars, who has campaign events
with celebrities and millionaires on
a regular basis, and who just seems
to squeeze in a little bit of work in
between lavish vacations and golf
outings with Tiger Woods; yet he
spent most of last year campaigning against rich people.
This is almost like listening to
Bill Maher complain about loud
mouth know-nothings who regularly say incredibly stupid things
just for shock value.
3) He works overtime to pit Americans against each other: Barack
Obama’s entire campaign strategy
-- and don’t forget, he’s always
campaigning -- is based on convincing different groups of Americans to hate each other. He tries
to convince black and Hispanic
Americans that Republicans hate
them for their skin color, gays that
Republicans hate them for their
sexuality, women that the GOP
is pro-rape, poor people that the
rich are taking all their money,
people who’ve had children killed
that gun owners are in favor of
their children dying -- it just goes
on and on.
There have been campaigns
of genocide across the world that
have featured less vitriolic rhetoric against the people who were
murdered than Barack Obama and
Company have engaged in since
he became President. Then they
turn around and wonder why Republicans in Congress have trouble working with them. Go figure.
4) His hypocrisy on bipartisanship never ends: Politics is a brassknuckled street fight in a phone
booth and if you want a friend in
Washington, get a dog or alternately, if you’re Robert Menendez, you hire an underage Dominican prostitute.
What’s so frustrating about
Barack Obama is that he’s as much
of a diehard partisan as Rachel
Maddow or Chris Matthews, but
he never stops yapping about the
importance of bipartisanship. This
is a man who has done everything
short of screaming, “Screw you,
Republicans,” over and over at

Regarding The History of
Bloomingdale...
Dear Editor,
This year 2013, the “Civilian
Conservation Corps” will be celebrating their 80th year that began
in the 1930 better known as the
C.C.C. President F.D. Roosevelt
initiated this program to get our
country going again.
Bloomingdale was the place for
P81-1426 a camp that extended
from 1934 to 1939. The Bloomingdale History Society is seeking information about this program in
our area so that on Sunday, March
24, 2013 at 4:00pm at the Museum
we will have a “remembrance” and

Regarding The MisTreatment of Visitors To
A Local Nursing Home...
Dear Editor,
On February 8, 2012, my beloved father-in-law passed away at
a local, privately owned nursing
home. During my visits with him
I developed friendships with several of the residents. I continued to
visit on a regular basis and this be-

you are a criminal. It is demeaning and hurtful and I felt as if I had
no rights to be a concerned, caring
citizen.
Even though these facilities
are privately owned, a lot of their
funding is government based and
you would think anyone that is
a taxpayer should have a right to
enter the premises unless you’ve
created a disturbance of some kind
or caused harm to a resident or
staff member. My story does have
a happy ending because a resident
requested that I return, therefore,
they had no choice but to allow me
to visit again. I was contacted by
the facility administrator that I can
return to visit that one resident but
only under supervision and only in
the dining area or reception area.
I am thankful that I can now
spend time with her and I hope
one day I’ll be allowed to visit the
other residents that are so dear to
me. I realize I may be viewed by
this facility as someone that may
question their operation there and
that is the part that family members should take on, but to be punished for wanting to hold a hand,
give smiles and hugs, sit and have a
cup of coffee, or sew a ripped dress
for someone, I just cannot comprehend the reasoning in this.

State Representative Jon Burns: Weekly Capitol Update
The 2013 legislative session of
the Georgia General Assembly continues to push forward toward the
finish line with the completion of
the twenty-seventh day of the session.
Reforming our ethics laws is
one of our priorities for this session. House Bills 142 and 143
would strengthen Georgia’s ethics
laws by banning expenditures by
lobbyists on individual members of
the General Assembly and by making common sense changes to the
campaign contribution disclosure
requirements.
Food and beverages may be
provided to legislators only at
group events where all members
of the General Assembly, all members of the state House or Senate,
all members of a standing committee or subcommittee of either body
or a caucus of either body are invited. HB 142 also restores power
to the Georgia Government and
Campaign Finance Commission by
empowering it with rule-making
authority.
An important part of this legislation was removing requirements
for officials holding local offices to
file campaign contribution reports
with the state. Many of these local officials have not been involved

YOU WANT IT, WE GOT IT OR WE’LL BUILD IT!
came a part of my life that brought
so much joy and happiness to not
only me but the precious residents
that looked forward to my visits.
I volunteered my time, helped
with parties, provided entertainment, bought extra treats and
supplies for parties, made sure
birthdays were recognized, etc. I
thought I had a good relationship
with not only the residents but the
staff also.
On Thursday, February 7th,
I received a call from the nursing
home’s administrator that I could
no longer come on their property. I
was shocked and overwhelmed and
as anyone would do, I asked why.
The reply was that the sheriff had
been contacted and I would be arrested if I came on the property or
even called there. My first thought
was, what will the residents that
have become my dearest friends
think when I don’t return to visit.
My next thought was this is not fair
and just cannot be happening.
Almost a month has passed and
after hiring an attorney, contacting the ombudsman, filing a claim
with Health Facility Regulations in
Atlanta, contacting city officials,
Congressmen and anyone that
would listen to me. I have found
out that if you are not a family
member of a resident at that facility, you have no rights at all. You
can be shunned and treated as if
wanted out of Screven County. Before sharing that little tidbit of good
news with the man, he had him submit to a field sobriety test, which he
failed, though he didn’t register on
the alcosensor. So EMS personnel
were contacted to come and draw
blood, and the man was taken to jail
for DUI-Drugs charges.
• Just after 2am, a couple heard
what sounded like someone trying
to break into their home. So the
man got up and peeked out the
window and saw a juvenile twisting the door knob. The man ran and
grabbed a golf club because the kid
was obviously high on something
and it wasn’t the thought of getting
free golf lessons! But the youngster had run off by the time the
man came outside. So he called his
landlord who lived nearby, and the
landlord went outside and soon had
the boy detained for the Deputies.
They noticed the bulge in the boy’s
cargo pants and asked what he had
in there. The boy replied “a Mason
jar of moonshine!” Turned out to
be a Mason jar of Marijuana, and he
was arrested and taken to jail. Juvenile Justice released him back to his
daddy.
• Deputies responded around
10:30pm to a home for a fight in
progress. The offender had already
left when they arrived, but the complainant told him what happened.
She said they were having a cookout when a man showed up. His
in a campaign where any material
amount of money is spent, however they have been subjected to
tedious disclosure requirements.
Even if a local official had no competition and had spent no money
on a campaign they were required
to file up to five reports a year stating no contributions and no expenditures.
HB 143 provides that a candidate can file an affidavit declaring
not to spend over $2,500.00 and
will have no other reporting to
make to the state. Local officials
will still have to meet local requirements.
House Bill 242, or the Juvenile
Justice Reform bill, would substantially revise and modernize provisions relating to Georgia’s juvenile
proceedings and enact comprehensive juvenile justice reforms. HB
242 provides consistency with national standards for cases involving
children who have been abused or
neglected by the adults responsible
for their well-being.
Additionally, the bill would
create a new approach for children who have committed acts
that would not be against the law if
they were adults, such as skipping
school, running away from home,
or violating curfew.
House Bill 244 would create
uniformity in the way Georgia
teachers are evaluated by establishing a single statewide educator
evaluation system. This evaluation
system has been piloted in 50 districts across the state. Teachers,
superintendents, principals, and
advocates who participated in the
pilot program all came together to
publicly support this bill.
The evaluation system implemented by HB 244 would become
effective no later than the 20142015 school year, and would apply
to teachers, assistant principals,
and principals. Creating this evaluation system would ensure all public school teachers and school leaders in Georgia receive the feedback
they need to grow and improve in
their profession. These evaluations
will be used to help educators receive the feedback they need to do
the best job possible, the evaluation system would include measures to protect educators’ privacy.
Thank you for allowing me to
serve as your state representative.

Rep. Jon Burns is the State Representative for District 159. He lives in
Newington.
name, or nickname, happens to be
“Hungry,” so she should’ve seen
trouble coming! “Hungry” had also
been “Thirsty,” cause he’d been
drinking Jim Beam all night. He ended up in a fight, throwing an elderly
man to the ground before others
put him on the ground and held him
there. He agreed to leave, so they
let him up. He walked over to his
pickup and sat down, but when the
two women came over to try and
get him to calm down before he
drove off, he ended up kicking one
of them in the face, busting her lip
and chipping a tooth. That’s when
he left. The Deputies were then advised by dispatch that the man had
been spotted a little farther down
the road, so they headed to the
new location and eventually found
“Hungry” hiding beneath a log in
the back yard. He was taken to the
Emergency Room for treatment before ending up in jail.
• A man filed another credit card
fraud report with Deputies. In this
case, the offender used the man’s
card to make four purchases, all
at Turbotax.com. (Looks like that
would be easily traceable!)
• The County’s Prison work crew
was cutting down a tree at the
Tuckasee-King boat ramp park.
They didn’t bother to delay traffic as
the tree came down, so it hit brand
new white Kia Sportage that happened to be passing by at exactly
the wrong time. (“Oh... well that
ain’t my job!”)
• At midnight, a Deputy was southbound on Hwy 17 when the red Ford
Ranger in front of him turned left
onto Midland Road, running off the
roadway after the dramatic wide
turn and splashing mud and water
all over the truck. The Deputy hit
his emergency lights and pulled in
behind the truck to make a traffic
stop. He walked up to the driver’s
window and asked the man for his
driver’s license. The man pulled his
wallet out and tried grabbing his license, but couldn’t get his fingers
to cooperate. It took numerous attempts to get the license out but he
finally managed to do it. The Deputy eventually took him to jail on DUI
charges after the man managed a
.270 on the alcosensor.
• Around 9am, a Deputy was dispatched to an Eden neighborhood
where a woman told them she was
there to pick up her vehicle, which
she said had been “taken” out of
Savannah. She said her brother always comes by and “uses” her car
because she doesn’t need it much.
She added that she was also going
over to her parent’s house to tell
her mother she wanted her “food
stamp card” back and her car back
or she was going to report it stolen. The more she talked, the more
confusing she became. Her mother
has power of attorney over her, and
if the Deputy couldn’t get Mom to
give her the food stamp card and
her car, she’d be willing to just accept $100 and she’d get her car another time.
The Deputy then advised the
woman that if she falsely reports
her car as stolen, that she would
be charged with filing a false police
report. That’s when she became disorderly, getting belligerent with the
Deputy and yelling at him. “You’re
not helping me out!” she screamed
while stomping her feet.The friend
that she had with her tried to help
her out, telling the Deputy the
woman now understood what she
needed to do, which was to call her

Running the Race
By Pastor Gary Cubbedge
Since this column will take
place before racing season starts at
Daytona, allow me a little latitude.
As you have seen or will see,
something called, “the draft”
worked at Daytona and later Talladega like nowhere else.
The draft, according to Nascar
history was invented in the 1960’s
by Junior Johnson. Johnson at the
least, was the first to use it to his
advantage there and by doing so
helped him in the race. It can be
argued that in this life, we are in

a race, as well. Paul continuously
uses the illustration in his letters,
using a foot race as an example.
For our purposes we all saw or
have seen at Daytona, what happens when one car pulls out of line
by itself and tries to accomplish the
lead by itself. It ends in disaster.
The car “loses the draft” and goes
to the back and has to pass all the
cars again.
When, as Christians and nonChristians we “pull out” from behind Christ and try to make it on
our own, it doesn’t work.

Douglas Hiram Lynn, Sr.
Douglas Hiram Lynn, Sr., 80, of Savannah, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at St.
Joseph’s Hospital.
He was born in Graham, Georgia, and
was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Lynn, his parents, Hiram and
Nellie Lynn, and his sister, Marilyn Newsome.
It is not often that you hear of this
man, a man who is so dishonest that
even his shadow is crooked.
One day, however, he became a
Christian. A neighbor who noticed the
dramatic difference asked his wife,
“Has your husband changed his religion?”
“No,” came the reply. “My husband has never been religious. He
turned his life over to Christ and God
changed him.”
No one has to stay the way they
are - discouraged, defeated, disgraced,
dishonest. If we ask Him, God can
and will change us. But, we must be
willing.
One’s age, background and attitude are irrelevant. God can take what
we have and turn our fear into faith,
our weakness into strength and make
our crooked lives straight.
Again, we must be willing if we
want to experience His power to bring
about His change in our lives.
Here’s the question we must all
answer. If I am not who God wants
me to be, am I willing to surrender my
life to Christ and allow His power to
change me into His likeness?

Scripture Memorization Program
You’re probably familiar with the Scripture, Psalm 119:11: “Thy
word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
Well, we’re going to try and help you with that.
From now on, Spirit Newspapers will be publishing verse of
Scripture every week, with a title describing it, then where it’s found
in the Bible, then the Scripture, then where it’s found in the Bible
again, and then the description once again. We hope you’ll take advantage of this and try to memorize it exactly that way, sorta building a sandwich out of it.
This is a program we’ve just begun at the Band of Brothers Bible
Study group, and the moment I heard it, I thought it was something
we should share with our readers. Next week, we’ll have a little better explanation of the program from the man who’s heading it up,
Rev. Michael Chastain of Southbridge Community Church.
Here’s this week’s Scripture:
Assurance of Salvation
1 John 5:11-13a
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and
this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that
hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written
unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may
know that ye have eternal life.

Curing the GOP’s Infection
By Robert Knight
One of Bill Cosby’s best-loved
routines is “Tonsils.”
Mr. Cosby relates how the doctor explained the need for surgery
when he was a young boy. “Your
tonsils guard your throat,” the doc
says. “They have hand grenades, bazookas and anything bad that comes
into your mouth, they fight it off. In
your case, your tonsils have lost the
war. As a matter of fact, they’ve gone
so far as to join the other side, and
they’re going to kill you....”
Watching the Republican Party
establishment wage war on the Tea
Party and social conservatives, it
feels a lot like Mr. Cosby’s scenario.
If the GOP abandons its commitment to traditional values in pursuit
of the ever-transient “youth vote,”
it will become the equivalent of infected tonsils. The party will cease
to be an effective voice against moral
and fiscal collapse, and will help facilitate America’s demise.
More than 100 GOP establishment figures have joined a Supreme
Court brief against California’s voter-approved constitutional amendment defining marriage as the union
of one man and one woman.
The New York Times’ Sheryl Gay
Stolberg observed, “at this point, the
Republicans who signed the document are taking a more expansive
stance than President Obama, who
favors same-sex marriage but has
said he would leave it to the states,
as opposed to making it a constitutional right.”
In the American Spectator, Jeffrey Lord makes this observation
in “GOP Elites and the Abolition of
Marriage”:
“It is fair to say that there are serious Republicans and conservatives
out there who have zero problem with
gays. Who, like myself, have their
share of wonderful family members
and friends who happen to be gay. But
who nonetheless are very concerned
that in this rush to political correctness, not to mention appealing for
votes, the GOP elites who have signed
this brief are oblivious to the idea that
they are seen as signing not a Supreme
Court brief--but a death warrant.
The effective abolition of marriage in
America.”
The Republicans who signed the
brief are infected tonsils. The Tea
Party and other traditionalist Americans already suspect the GOP, as currently constituted, will not effectively resist the Democrats’ relentless
left-wing agenda. By failing to slow
down the madness of Obamacare,
gun control, out-of-control spending, unconstitutional appointments,
bizarre nominees, unvetted “czars,”
and incentives for more illegal immigration, Republican leaders resemble worn-down speed bumps--in
some cases, potholes.
Another case in point: On
Wednesday, the Senate confirmed
former White House chief of staff
Jack Lew as Treasury secretary by
71-26. Mr. Lew epitomizes the “1
percent” that Mr. Obama has demagogued. Sen. Chuck Grassley, Iowa
Republican, summarized the absurdity: When Mr. Lew “worked at
tax-exempt New York University, he

lawyer, and then she advised her
friend to get in the car and shut up.
That lasted until the friend got the
woman to the closest convenience
store where the woman got out
and called 911 again, complaining
about the Deputy not helping her,
was given a subsidized $1.4 million
mortgage. Now, Mr. Lew claims he
cannot remember the interest rate
he paid. Does this pass the laugh
test? When Mr. Lew was executive
vice president of NYU, the school
received kickbacks on student loans
from Citigroup. Then, Mr. Lew went
to work for Citigroup.”
Mr. Obama has railed against investors dodging taxes in the Cayman
Islands, but, “Mr. Lew is a serial Cayman Islands investor. On his watch,
Citigroup invested money there, and
he invested his own money there,”
noted Mr. Grassley, who voted no,
unlike 20 GOP colleagues.
When something important happens, have you noticed that there’s
almost always a handy Republican
or two who joins liberal Democrats
to make it “bipartisan?”
John McCain and Lindsey Graham, despite all their thunder about
Chuck Hagel being unqualified to be
defense secretary, allowed a vote to
confirm him rather than continue
to filibuster his nomination. Four
Republicans--Thad Cochran of Mississippi, Mike Johanns of Nebraska,
Richard Shelby of Alabama and
Rand Paul of Kentucky--joined all
54 Democrats, plus Maine independent Angus King, in voting yes.
This, despite Mr. Hagel’s disastrous hearing, anti-Israel record,
naivete toward radical Islam, including a reluctance to back sanctions
against Iran, and his support for
nuclear disarmament.
On Last week, 87 House Republican tonsils, perhaps terrified of
“war on women” rhetoric, helped
Democrats reauthorize a Senateexpanded Violence Against Women
Act (VAWA), a piggy bank for the
left. As conservative activist Phyllis
Schlafly notes, “VAWA has somehow
ducked accountability for the nearly
a billion dollars a year it doles out to
radical feminist organizations.”
Other developments, such as
Obamacare’s abortifacient mandate,
are testing whether America will
succumb to such extreme political
correctness that it will extinguish
the right of conscience. This assault
on sanity and liberty could be blunted if the party of Abraham Lincoln
found its voice. Too many in the
GOP, however, are scared of the media or are listening to “conservative”
pundits who tell them to be more
like Democrats.
Despite winning every court
case, the Boy Scouts are under enormous corporate pressure to commit
suicide by allowing homosexual
leaders and members. California
Democratic State Sen. Ricardo Lara
has introduced a bill to revoke the
tax exemption of the Scouts and
other youth groups that won’t embrace San Francisco values.
Where is the GOP when it
comes to the Scouts? Largely silent,
with honorable exceptions such as
Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
I’m hearing more and more
people ask whether America is over.
They say the moral rot and feckless
“opposition” is landing us in a pit
from which we will not escape because we no longer have the Godgiven values that sustained America
through a civil war, a Depression
and two world wars.
Pessimism to the point of paralysis is not the answer, despite the
media’s assurance that we’re doomed
to live in a socialist version of Sodom and Gomorrah. Thousands of
Tea Parties all over America, plus a
growing number of churches, are organizing and educating Americans
about real constitutional rights.
They will be a huge factor in the
2014 elections and beyond.
When the GOP is serious about
regaining credibility, party leaders
may want to attend some Tea Party
meetings. Watching them work to
save the country despite the betrayals by the infected tonsils, they
could learn something about American character.

• At 2am, Deputies received a lookout notice for a man in a blue Chevy
Aveo coming into the northern end
of the county from South Carolina. This was during a moderate
downpour of rain, but one Deputy
soon spotted the car on Hwy 119.
He waited for a backup Deputy to
catch up with him, then made a traffic stop. As he spoke with the driver,
