Dear Parents!
From the moment parents learn they are expecting, their
babies become the most important and valuable thing
in their lives. Naturally, you as a parent want to care
for your baby as well as possible. Therefore, you devote
considerable attention to selecting the products that
will surround your baby every day. Since babies spend
most of their time sleeping, you should pay particular
attention to a healthy and safe sleeping environment.
We are constantly improving our products in order to
meet the highest standards and fulfil our responsibility
for ensuring baby’s healthy sleep.
We produce all of our baby mattresses in our own factory in Austria. We carefully select the materials and place
great emphasis on quality and care in production.

Our company was founded in 1902 and continues to operate as a family business.
We have been specializing in manufacturing premium baby and kids’ mattresses
since 1965 and have established ourselves as the leader in the high-end market.
As a specialist for baby and kids’ mattresses, we strive to
offer forward-looking innovations and continual improvements. With innovative product development, careful manufacturing and continuous quality control, we are steadily
expanding our position as a premium European manufacturer. Träumeland baby mattresses are currently available in
25 countries worldwide.

Divisible
mattress cover
The two surfaces of the mattress cover
can be completely separated. If an
accident occurs, you can simply unzip
the mattress cover, place the clean lower
portion on top, and let your child go on
sleeping. This gives you time to wash
the soiled side. Later, simply zip the two
sides of the cover back together over
the mattress and your baby’s mattress is
complete again.

This seal certifies that our products
and materials are exceptionally
well suited for use in baby‘s bed.
All of our mattresses are class
1 certified (for babies). The limit
values in this class are especially
stringent.
Toxproof
TÜV Rheinland Group periodically carries out inspections
to make sure that the strict
criteria of styrol evaporation are
respected; this is a guarantee
for the customer that they buy a
healthy product.
The first years are especially important for a child’s development. Physical growth and emotional development
progress rapidly during this time. Since children sleep
a great deal in these early years, parents and caregivers
should hold their child’s sleep environment to high standards. For safety‘s sake, infants should sleep on their backs,
on a mattress that is supportive and has high point-by-point elasticity to equalize
pressure. Air needs to circulate freely in baby’s bed to ensure that nothing
impedes baby‘s breathing. Baby’s room should be kept at 18 °C (and no more
than 20 °C). And finally, do not smoke around baby or in baby’s environment.

As one of the main components of a mattress, the material of the mattress core
is, of course, especially important. The
materials we use in our mattresses fall
into three quality classes:
natural fibers and soft foam
premium cold foam
natural latex, visco-elastic (“memory”) foam and specialty foams
Ventilation
Mattress ventilation is especially important for babies. It prevents unhealthy heat
build-up and ensures that exhaled CO² is
carried away from baby, allowing fresh air
to take its place.

toddler side, to provide optimum comfort

development. We recommend turning the
mattress to the toddler side when your
child weighs 12 kilograms or more.
Reinforced edges
The long edges of the mattress are
reinforced to ensure baby’s safety when it
starts to practice standing up in its crib.
We do not reinforce the short edges of
our mattresses because the firmer surface
under baby’s head would result in an
unhealthy sleep position.
Oeko-Tex certification
The entire mattress is certified in
accordance with Oeko-Tex standard 100,
product class 1 for babies, tested for
harmful substances, and marked with the
Oeko-Tex label.

NATURELATEX
This is the highest quality form of latex
available. It is manufactured from the
milk of the rubber tree. Natural latex
is breathable, temperature regulating,
pressure-relieving with point-by-point
elasticity, and has antiseptic properties
that repel bacteria and dust mites very
effectively. Therefore, natural latex is
especially suitable for allergy sufferers.

TENCEL®
A new era in fiber technology began with
the development of Tencel®. Tencel® is
a cellulose fiber made from wood in an
environmentally friendly process that
was awarded the European Environmental Prize. Lyocell combines the benefits
of many different fibers. It is fine like
silk, strong like polyester, easy to care for
like acrylic, cool and pleasant like linen,
warm like wool and it absorbs 130 %
more water vapor than cotton.
TENCEL® BLEND
Composition: 32 % Tencel®, 68 % polyester
This comfortable Tencel® fabric, quilted
with Tencel® fleece, provides an optimal,
dry sleeping climate and a pleasant, soft
mattress surface. Washable at 60 °C and
suitable for gentle dryers.
COT TON
Cotton is one of the most familiar and
most widely used natural materials.
Cotton is breathable and very durable.
Therefore, it is especially well suited for
use in mattress covers.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC COT TON
Certified organic cotton is produced
without the use of any artificial fertilizers,
pesticides, or defoliants. (kbA is the German abbreviation for certified organic).
COT TON - POLYESTER BLEND
44 % cotton, 56 % polyester
This mattress cover is especially elastic
and soft. Quilted with washable fleece, it
provides a cozy surface for baby to sleep
on. Washable at 60 °C and suitable for
gentle dryers.
KAPOK
Kapok has a water-repellent effect and
therefore hinders the development of
mites.
VIRGIN WOOL
Mattresses with a cover made of pure
virgin sheep´s wool have good heat
retention and high moisture-wicking capability, being able to absorb up to 30 % of
its own weight in moisture. Virgin wool is
shorn from live animals.
WOOL FLEECE
60 % sheep´s wool, 40 % polyester
Our wool fleece has high loft (fluffiness)
and contains no chemical binders.
WASHABLE FLEECE
100 % polyester
Washable fleece is a washable hollow
fiber that is ideally suited for babies
with allergies. It has high resilience and
adds cushioning to Träumeland mattress
covers.
POLYESTER FLEECE TOPPER
100 % polyester
The air captured within this high-loft
synthetic hollow fiber gives it good
climate managing properties.
MATERIALS
Our recommendation: Please do not start using wetness protection covers until your
baby is at least two years old. During the first two years of baby’s life, airtight materials
in baby’s bed should be avoided. At this age, our sleep safety and sleep fresh mattress
covers protect the mattress core sufficiently from wetness.
