I enclose my cheque (total value) The village of Naunton, in the heart of the Cotswolds, has a tradition of holding concerts each year, featuring internationally renowned artists. Amongst those who have appeared are Dame Felicity Lott, Steven Isserlis, Mark Padmore, Trevor Pinnock, Kristian Bezuidenhout, John Williams, the Lindsays, The Sixteen, Stile Antico, the Brodsky, Belcea, Heath, Škampa, Endellion, Petersen, Doric, Chiaroscuro and Chilingirian Quartets, London Winds, Florestan Trio, Leopold String Trio, Alison Balsom, Tasmin Little, Alina Ibragimova, Jennifer Pike, Natalie Clein, Laura van der Heijden, Emma Johnson, Paul Lewis, Angela Hewitt, John Lill, Benjamin Grosvenor, Freddy Kempf, Steven Osborne, Llyr Williams, Marc-André Hamelin, Alfredo Perl, Cédric Tiberghien, Nikolai Demidenko, Martin Roscoe and Peter Donohoe. The concerts are held in St. Andrew's, a medieval church with excellent acoustics and a beautiful setting. A former BBC New Generation Artist, the Quartet made its BBC Proms debut in 2012 and is a frequent guest at Wigmore Hall. A ‘jewel in the crown’ of early-music consorts, The Cardinall’s Musick specialises in music of the 16th and 17th centuries. Through a large number of award-winning recordings and concerts, they have established, under Andrew Carwood’s direction, a reputation as one of the world’s most expressive, entertaining and professional ensembles. The Times recently admired the ensemble’s “clear tones; perfect intonation.... an ideal balance between individual colour and an ensemble blend...”. June Concert Autumn Concert Friday 17 June, at 7.30 pm Friday 30 September, at 7.30 pm CÉDRIC TIBERGHIEN - Piano Mozart: Sonata in C minor, K. 457 Beethoven: Sonata in C major, Op. 53 “Waldstein” Chopin: 24 Preludes, Op. 28 Cédric Tiberghien’s flourishing international career spans five continents. Highlights of the coming season include his debut with the London Symphony Orchestra, a major residency with the Strasbourg Philharmonic and a return engagement with the CBSO. Recital plans include several projects in the Wigmore Hall’s prestigious Master Series in London. In 2007 he gave a most memorable recital here in Naunton, with Alina Ibragimova. He is regularly invited to perform with some of the world’s greatest orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony and the Royal Concertgebouw, and has made numerous notable recordings. Lawrence is a committed chamber musician; Simon Crawford-Phillips is his regular duo partner. We appreciate greatly all the donations from the Friends and Supporters.
