The Club is a non-profrt arganization, representing a group of people of all ages, from all walks of life, who enjoy
the friendship and company of others in participating in a variety of outdoor activities, both within and outside the
scope of organized Club events. Men and women, young and old, hunters or shooters, boat owners or not, campers
or "for the day only", will all find an activify to their liking. In staying with the spirit of family togetherness, the
nominal annual membership dues include your spouse and all children at home under 18 years old. A special
emphasis is placed on youth activities by encouraging active participation in various outdoor activities, and through
education in prudent sportsmanship, safety, conservation, and ethics practices.

MONTHLY MEETING
at7:00 PM, held at Heritage Park, 18600 S. Bloomfield., (between
183'd and
South St.). The public is welcome, so come enjoy discussions of past and upcoming events. Come with us on an
outing, as guest participation is welcome at most Club events. Take a chance in the raffle at the coffee break.
TRAP & SKEET SHOOTING
Every Thursday at 10:00 AM and twice monthly on Saturdays, shooting at Triple B Clay's in El Monte with
reduced rates for Club members. Shooting of different classes for all skill levels and ages. Regulars inciude both
men and women of all ages. Get into reloading and save money. The occasional round of Skeet or Sporting Clays
can prove to be an educational experience. Beginning shooters, including youths, and guests, are welcome.
SALTWATER FISHING
Regular small boater/local partyboat outings, fall Tuna trips, winter surf fishing, fhe summer Twilight Sand Bass
charters, and other special kips for the enthusiast from bass to tuna to rock cod, beginner to expert. Leaxnto cast,
tie a knot, hook an anchovy, repair a reel, or wrap a rod. Leam (or show us) the hot spots and techniques.
FRESHWATER FISHING
Outings to local lakes, and the Sierras trout opener, as well as multi-day excursions to lakes in nearby states.
highlight is the Club participation in our annual Kid's Fishing Derby in June at Cerritos Regional Park.

CAMPING
Campouts at local lakes or recreational areas. Often combined with Freshwater Fishing, sometimes with a little
trap or handgun shooting on the side. Enjoy the evening pot luck and steak firy around the campfire.
HUNTING
in
September, followed by quail, chuckar, ducks, geese, pheasant, and turkey. Califomia
and out-olstate deer have been taken by members, as well as Colorado and Utah elk. How about a wild hog hunt?
100o/o success on a recent hunts! Hunter Safety classes taught by a Certifred member.
Catch the dove opener
HANDGUN SHOOTING
Join the group once a month for a Wednesday evening at the local indoor pistol range, where rental guns are
available for a norninal fee. Shoot for fun or score in friendly competition.
OTHER ACTIWTIES
Annual Christmas awards banquet, featuring a great feed followed by the awardrng of trophies, a "white elephant"
gift exchange, and the raffle of many prizes. Free Pizza night. Committee cookouts/steak fty's/barbecues. A
variety of fund-raisers. Club participation in community activities. Club sponsorship of activities for various youth
