The combination of the MK Structure system with other shoring and traveller systems increases the number of possible solutions: MK TRUSS u Powerful shoring for special buildings u Construction of upper slab and wings of steel -concrete composite bridge u u Support structure for ENKOFORM HMK formwork in large span applications. It is easy to adapt to and to reinforce according to the particular building site requirements. Deck flange form carrier in concrete bridge MK Truss shoring up bridge MK FORM CARRIERS Deck flange form carrier Instead of a customised structure for steel-concrete composite bridge decks, the standard solution offered by MK Form Carrier increases the cost-effectiveness of projects. The forward-moving of the form carrier is easy with the pull or push auxiliary devices recommended by ULMA. 6 MK SYSTEM Parapet form carrier Light form carrier which can be moved manually. It is used for applications with lower load-bearing and forward-moving requirements. It only requires a solid base where to rest the guide rail on. Construction of bridge with balanced cantilevers u u Parapet form carrier in between two bridge decks u u This system is the appropriate for the construction of bridge protection parapets. Example of parapet form carrier CVS Cantilever carriage u The MK System in its configuration of a cantilever form carriage eases the construction of pier segments with balanced cantilevers as well as straight or curved decks of constant or variable section, and bridge arches. 7 MK SYSTEM Vertical formwork carrier Vertical formwork carrier for double-sided walls u u By fixing the formwork onto this carrier, it eases and simplifies the formwork erection and stripping works and the travel of the formwork to the next pouring stage in the construction of singleor double-sided concrete walls. Vertical formwork carrier for single-sided walls Tunnel form carrier 8 Any required geometry is formed with the available standard items u u The solution with the MK System for tunnels can be considered another type of form carrier adapted to the particular requirements of tunnel construction. It effectively combines the shoring and the form-giving of the formwork which has to adapt to the vault shape of the tunnel. Cut-and-cover tunnel with electric rolling system MK SYSTEM Formwork systems ENKOFORM HMK With beams and standard walers, the horizontal formwork ENKOFORM HMK allows adapting to the varied shapes of concrete structures in civil engineering. With this system, it is possible to form the varied sections of bridge decks, overpasses and underpasses, and any other application that requires high load capacity. Fast stripping by modules or formwork units. Easy jointing of walers and timber beams. 9 MK SYSTEM ENKOFORM VMK It provides great performance and excellent finishes as vertical formwork in any application of building construction and civil works: walls, columns, abutments and piers. In accordance to the requirements of each project, it is possible to make customised panels consisting of steel walers, timber beams and phenol faced plywood. System benefits It provides excellent finishes capable of suiting the requirements of surface designs predefined by the architect. Reduced transport volume if the material is delivered dismantled to the building site. The formwork can be optimised according to the defined concrete pressure. Panel joints are simple and adjustable. The requirement for filling elements is minimal. Panels with standard plywood, easy to be replaced, allowing the reuse of panels. The Panel Connector ensures the hermetical longitudinal joint between panels. Working platforms and handrails on top of the tower 13 MK SYSTEM MK Climbing Systems CONVENTIONAL CLIMBING SYSTEMS These are formwork support systems which make the construction in stages of high-rise repetitive buildings more cost-effective. System benefits Compatible with ULMA formwork, both modular as well as beam-based. In a single crane movement - entire sets of climbing brackets and formwork panels are moved to the next pouring stage. Easy adaptation to different geometries: straight, inclined and circular walls. Availability of working platforms at different levels with protection equipment for front and lateral safety and access ladders between platforms. Possibility to bridge gaps in the wall. All climbing brackets incorporate connections for handrails, adjustable push-pull props and other accessory. Possibility of formwork stripping with roll-back carriages. u Adjustment, positioning and plumbing of formwork is done with levelling jacks and push-pull props. Climbing systems in construction of piers Climbing bracket anchoring to the wall with cone-andclimbing ring system. MK Climbing Brackets The MK Climbing Brackets consisting of standard MK Walers and specific accessory can be adapted to include solutions for sloping and circular walls. 14 Main platform of climbing system u u As the brackets are assembled out of independent walers fastened with bolts, they can also be dismantled for the purpose of saving transport costs. The outside formwork gets supported on ULMA Climbing Brackets. u System benefits Adaptable to any size and type of formwork; as only standard and modular material, basically, MK Walers and timber beams are used to configure the platform. Versatility of the Gravity Pawl Bracket which is compatible with all types of ULMA walers and adjustable to different lengths. There are 2 solutions depending on the type of anchoring to the wall: u Gravity Pawl Bracket with box-out u Folding Bracket with bracket support Provides good finish of the wall RSK RAIL CLIMBING Safe climbing even under the severest weather conditions is ensured with the RKS Rail Climbing system. The system allows formwork panel climbing without the risk of them getting detached from the wall. System benefits Safe climbing to great heights. Versatile and easy to configure with MK profiles. As the RSK Shaft Platform, the HWS screens can be elevated either with crane or automatically with a hydraulic system. Likewise it provides platforms for access and storage. u Apartment building Stawki, Warsaw, Poland Unique geometry with HWS and platforms for material in Four Seasons, Toronto, Canada u u The use of MK system components allows obtaining different configurations best suited to the particular needs and the building geometry. HWS system in SyV Tower, Madrid, Spain System benefits Prevents people or objects from falling down from the slab edge. Provides protection against the inclemency of the weather. Avoid negative visual effect due to the height. Provides a working platform at the slab edge. Possibility of self-climbing (hydraulic) elevation without the requirement for a crane. Enables anchoring it to slab or wall. Adaptable to slab geometry changes.
