Perhaps most intriguing is that the Camila was created in passionate support of widows and female
heads of households in the developing world. Koket’s personal commitment to bringing an end to
the vicious cycle of poverty - by empowering the most vulnerable of the poor through skills based
training, education, access to employment, and access to micro-capital - have culminated in the
creation of this statement piece. Proceeds from sales of the Camilia will be donated to such widows,
affording them with opportunities of health, security, stability, and dignity previously untenable.
