The researchers of its Design Automation Division EAS in Dresden develop methods
and tools for the reliable computer-aided design of complex electronic and
mechatronic systems. Aim of all research activities is the faster implementation
and optimization of integrated circuits, electronic devices and complex sensor
systems to reduce the time-to-market. Furthermore, the scientists work on innovative

The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS performs contract research and
development in the fields of microelectronic systems and software.
The researchers of its Design Automation Division EAS in Dresden develop methods
and tools for the reliable computer-aided design of complex electronic and
mechatronic systems. Aim of all research activities is the faster implementation
and optimization of integrated circuits, electronic devices and complex sensor

HSEB is a supplier of systems, sub-systems and components for the semiconductor
and MEMS industry. A major part are front and back side inspection and review systems and stand-alone microscopes. Our microscopes are based on high-end optics
by Carl Zeiss. All major systems of HSEB now feature optional edge grip handling
