Make the hole slightly larger than the PVC support sleeve. Sheathing StoGuard™ StoTherm ci Awning structural support Awning mechanical attachment Blocking PVC sleeve Sealant around sleeve and in sleeve as per Sto Detail 10.82 3] Cut a PVC sleeve adequate length so that when inserted in the hole it will project a minimum 1/8" (3 mm) beyond the wall finish. 4] Line the hole with a compatible, neutral-cure silicone sealant and insert the PVC support sleeve. Tool excess sealant around the sleeve. 5] Line the PVC sleeve with compatible sealant. Install awning structural support by fastening through the PVC sleeve into the wood blocking.
