We are especially appreciative

The Rally will happen this year because of superhuman efforts and
the amazing co-operation of City Leaders, local citizens, motorcycle
ministries, merchants, the utility companies, FEMA, The State of
Texas, several of our partners in Florida and four, very tired people
in the LSR offices. And, lastly but certainly the most important, the
support of you, the riders!
In spite of the storm, the Rally will be presented in its entirety!
Plus, we’ve added a second free Shuttle. Grab free clues from our
participating vendors and take your chance to win Jean Lafitte’s
Treasure! Enter your ride and self in our World’s largest Biker Holiday
Parade and Contest downtown or party at the Leather and Lace Ball
with Vince Vance and the Valiant’s! Tour our Ghost Ship or see Rhett
Rotten’s Wall of Death! Ladies, the Lady Riders Conference and
Breast Cancer Awareness Ride are back in the Convention Center.
So is the RV Show, more vendors and our newest feature, the Team
Mancuso Powersports Charity Casino for Ronald McDonald House
upstairs! Add into the mix nearly three hundred vendors and our cool
new Party Bar at the Peanut Butter Warehouse on 20th and you’ve
got four days of biker brew! The best and biggest Holiday party on
the planet!

HURRICANE IKE RELIEF EFFORTS
As you have seen, IKE was a terrible storm that affected nearly
everyone on the Texas coast! Never before has it been more important
to get the rider community together than this year, right now! Your
attendance, along with the money you’ll spend eating, drinking, with
your hotel and with our vendors will help jumpstart the economy of
this wonderful Texas Landmark city! Together, we’ll show the world
that Texans, especially riders, don’t die easy and they don’t turn their
backs on the neighbors! Along with the many sites and sounds of the
Lone Star Rally I hope you’ll take a second to notice the incredible
tenacity of Galveston’s people! They love their Island and they have
vowed to be back better than ever. This storm wasn’t their first and
they know it won’t be their last. They’ll build back stronger than ever.
We thank them all for the privilege of being in their community!
There are many other ways you can help while attended LSR. At
each of our beer and merchandising booths you will find managed
donation stations where you can drop off a few bucks for the cause!
Make a donation to the fund when you purchase Official Merchandise
and we’ll add a special “Stronger than IKE” Logo on your sleeve on the
spot! Run by the grocery and drop off a few food, clothing or school
items to the stations. LSR will donate a portion of the merchandise
sales and our concessionaire will donate a portion of the beer sales
to the cause so grab some cool stuff and drink up!

It’s Fun and Easy! Simply visit the booths and merchants displaying the skull and cross bones and pick up your free clue!
Keep getting clues until you think you know where the treasure is hidden! When you’re ready to guess take your self over
to the Treasure Hunt in the back of the Convention Center to register your guess. type in your name, address, cell phone
number and guess into our special computer. We’ll pull eight correct entries on Saturday evening at 6pm and call your
cell phone. You’ll be invited to the ARROW stage in Saengefest Park downtown at 8pm and given a key. you’ll try your
key in the lock on the treasure chest. If it open the lock, you win!

While you’re at the Harborside lots checking things out and collecting clues, be sure
to enjoy a free tour of our special Ghost Ship! Your free tour is sponsored by Nix, Patterson, & Roach,
Attorneys at Law. The entrance is located just west of Willie G’s Restaurant and the Hurricane Museum
behind RC Components. The Elissa is a beautiful, three-mast US NAVY schooner built in 1812 and kept
in pristine, seaworthy condition by the Galveston Historical Foundation. See how the sailors of yesteryear
lived and survived on a daily basis.

Also at the end of Pier 21 behind Willie G’s is Rhett Rotten’s Wall of Death! This
famous attraction has been wowing crowds around the world with death defying action for over 70
years! Watch as this daredevil cheats death riding on a vertical wall while taking tips from astounded
viewers!
LSR vendors are the finest in the world! Nearly 300 come from as far away as Australia
to display and/or sell almost anything one could possibly want, need or buy just for the
heck of it! With Christmas right around the corner, you can fill every order on your rider

Rightly named, this food and beer joint is always packed with bikes even when the rally is not in town! During the rally
it is “The Spot” for bikers! Few in Galveston can throw a party like Dennis! He was almost untouched by the storm so
he and his band of beauties are gearing up for a huge blast! Bike parking, great food, cold beer, fair prices, very biker
friendly and very foxy help. What more could you want?

FLOAT- 32nd and Seawall
Right at the West end of our Seawall site, this unique place offers beautiful women, a swim up bar, an incredible view of
the ocean and more! Bring your trunks and have a few cold ones!
The Galveston Island Convention Center is ready to celebrate the holiday season
and ring in a New Year! Besides the RV Show, our incredible vendors, and good
food and drink, be sure to join us Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 10 a.m. for the
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation Benefit Ride & Treasure
Hunt. For a donation of $10, this ride travels to various locations on Galveston Island where each
participant receives “treasure” as they continue their journey before returning back to the Convention Center just in
time for the Miss Lone Star Rally Pageant. At 1 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall, you can check out the beautiful ladies and
cheer for your favorite as these lovely contestants all compete for the title of Miss Lone Star Rally! The Lady Rider’s
Conference follows at 2 p.m. in the Galleon Room with six women all sharing their motorcycling experiences and their
love of the sport. Be ready to learn, share experiences, ask questions and meet new people! Be sure to visit the
Ronald McDonald Benefit Casino going on all four days of the rally and celebrate the holiday season with the good
folks of Vixens Visions and their lingerie models at the Leather and Lace Holiday Ball (Adults only!) on Saturday night
upstairs in the Grand Ballroom in the Convention Center. All of these are “COME AS YOU ARE” events! Let’s just blow
off some steam and have some fun!

ministries the Lone Star Rally would not happen. These
tireless folks man all of our work stations, sell our parking
passes, put up signs, anything that’s asked of them, all
for the opportunity to serve. These people have amazing
hearts and we appreciate them so much! Please give
a hearty thank you when you see their patch, make a
donation to their ministry and, most of all, attend their
Church services on our each of our stages on Sunday at

Was it the name of the very first still? Or did the seventh recipe

seven was his lucky number. Truth be told, no one knows the
origin or significance of ‘‘Old No. 7’’ on our label. Except Mr.
