Niñopa Chapel is located at Xoximilco Cancun and has been named after the Child Jesus,
venerated in Xochimilco, Mexico city, its meaning comes from the Hispanic-Nahuatl translation
“Child of the People”.
With an extraordinary architectural structure, from this chapel you can admire the canals that
colorful Mexican gondolas cross, highlighting the majestic colonial-style cross.

General Policies
on Special Events
Xoximilco Park acknowledges your preference and interest on celebrating your event with us.
We will spare no effort to ensure the quality in our services, products and staff service during
the entire event.
We provide you, for your knowledge and update, the special events guidelines inside the
Xoximilco park.
AVAILABILITTY:
Due to the natural operations of the park , events are limited during high season, including:
Easter, July, August and December.
SECURITY:
All external providers must register their access at the security booth by leaving an official ID, in
return, they will receive a visitor´s badge to enter into the park. Such a badge must be visible
at all times until the moment that they register their leaving.
GENERAL
POLICIES
Acces to minors accompanyng the providers is not permitted under any circumstances. All
members of the provider´s staff must meet the legal full age and have an official ID to access
the facilities.
Different security guideliness are followed at Xoximilco Park, depending on the area; nonetheless,
it is important to emphasize that the use of fireworks (even cold fireworks) is not permitted. The
same applies to any other activity related to fire (shows, dancers with fire, etc).
Due to the rustic and natural environment that surrounds Xoximilco Park, all activities are
restricted to certain areas, if the behaviour of the visitors (clients, guests or provider) puts at risk
the security, physical or moral integrity of any person, the person concerned will be asked to
leave the park or the event will be canceled.

FOOD:
The food chosen will be requested acording to the guarantee people.
The introduction of food into the park is not permitted.
BEVERAGES:
The chosen beverages must be requested according to the guarantee people
Cash bar service is not permitted.
GENERAL
POLICIES
Musicals define their participation by a set subject to schedules and lenght of the show. If there
is a delay coming from the client that causes a delay in the time of participation of the artists,
or the show is extended and the artist is in faculty of performing extra time, an additional fee
will be collected, in case of a 15 minute delay and up to 30 minutes, a charge of 50% of
the artist´s normal rate will apply, after this time the complete set will be charged. In case
of participating longer than expected (for example, ceremonies) an additional set starting
from minute 16 up to 45, will be collected. This charge will be charged by a voucher under
guarantee.
The participation of external musicals is permitted; however, Xoximilco Park takes no
responsability of the quality and presentation of the above.
It is necessary to receive 15 days prior to the event, a list with the names of the participants
as well as the equipment that will access the facilities. Artists must pass by the security booth
according to the schedules and locations indicated by the Coordination of Special Events.
Each member must show a valid ID and get a Xoximilco visitor´s badge, bringing all the
team and equipment needed for the sound. Xoximilco does not make sound tests nor provides
sound equipment for external musicals.

RESERVATION OF AREAS & DATES:
To consider the booking of a specific date and area of your interest, a request via e-mail must
be received. This booking will remain pending for 15 days, during this period of time Parque
Xoximilco must receive a first non refundable deposit to guarantee the event and be considered
as confirmed; otherwise both, the date and the area will be released and available for any
other party.
CONFIRMATION:
To consider the event as confirmed and the date as reserved , a first non refundable deposit
is necessary, this first deposit is the equivalent of 30% of the total event. The client can
consider his event as confirmed when receiving a quote with the initial deposit reflected in the
breakdown.
PAYMENT GUARANTEE:

All events have to be fully paid (100%) 30 days before the event takes place.
The last deposit must be paid through a wire transfer or a direct deposit at the payment services
at the Park. The total amount must be reflected at the Xoximilco´s account 15 days prior to the
event. No personal checks are accepted.
Any collection of bank comissions coming from the use of transfers, checks from other banks
or credit cards, must be fully covered by the client. Parque Xoximilco will consider as payment
the total amount reflected in the bank account.
An open voucher will be requested 3 days prior to the event to guarantee any extra costs
(additional guests or damage to the equipment). If the voucher is not used at the end of the
event it will be voided.
All fees coming from any event must be fully collected by the end of it.

BILLING:
In case of requiring an invoice, consider the following information:
•It is important to send a copy of your deposit immediatly to your coordinator by e-mail since
the law grants a maximum window of 24 hours to issue an invoice, after this time, it will not
be possible to issue the invoice.
•Please send your fiscal information to your coordinator to avoid any mistakes in the invoice.
•Make sure that all your fiscal information is correct, for once the document has been issued no
changes can be made.
