PHILLIP ISLAND www.moonlitsanctuary.com.au DAY visit evening tour ABOUT US Moonlit Sanctuary is inspired by the work of British naturalist Gerald Durrell and is dedicated to the conservation of endangered species. We are located within the Western Port Biosphere Reserve, and present many of the unique animals that have been found inside the reserve. CAFE AND GIFT SHOP Our cafe opens for light meals daily between 11am and 4pm. Our gift shop has a wide range of Aussie souvenirs. Keeper for a Day Work beside a keeper for a day, learning the many interesting aspects of their job. Winner of the Victorian Tourism Award in Ecotourism, Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park invites you to explore 10 hectares of bushland, meet endangered species, feed kangaroos and wallabies. Enjoy encounters with colourful birds, reptiles, dingoes and many other animals. Learn about our critically endangered animals and their conservation. Experience our bushfood garden, wetlands and more. At night, Moonlit Sanctuary comes alive with world-famous lantern-lit tours. Owls and other night birds are active, tiny feathertail gliders and beautiful squirrel gliders swoop around, quolls, pademelons and bettongs forage for food. Visitors are amazed that even animals such as wallabies are much more active and responsive at night. Join one of our group tours or book a private tour.
