IEWC Signs Asset Purchase Agreement for Control
Master Products of Concord, California.
In June, Industrial Electric Wire and Cable
concluded an Asset Purchase Agreement with
Control Master Products (CMP) of Concord,
California. CMP is a UL and CSA certified stocking
distributor of wire, cable and wire management
products; providing value added services including
striping, dyeing and cutting of wire and cable.
CMP was founded in 1968 to service and support
the needs of the OEM and Sub-assemblers located
principally in Northern California and the Pacific
Northwest region of the US. With this acquisition,
Chris Reich, U.S. West Regional Sales Manager, is
now responsible for championing Industrial
Electric’s commercial thrusts in the region. David
Nestingen, President of IEWC, stated that, “EstabIEWC’s new North West location

been a part of the company’s longer range vision for growth within the United States. Securing the assets of an existing
distributor will help to accelerate Industrial Electric’s strong commitment to expand its service offering nationally. We

This acquisition represents the seventh stocking location for Industrial Electric in
the US which now allows IEWC to provide next day service to nearly all customers
within the 48 contiguous United States. Mike O’Donnell, Vice president of
IEWC’s North American Sales further stated, “This acquisition brings together
two organizations with similar service offerings and market strategies and it
deepens IEWC’s commitment to Northern California and the Pacific Northwest
with a local stocking presence.”

Spotlight: North West Location
The new North West distribution center, located in
the California Bay Area, will service and support
customers in the Pacific North West states of
California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Like
IEWC’s other regions, the North West will service
customers in the aerospace, automotive, electronic,
industrial, marine, medical, military, renewable
energy, mining, and agriculture. Being a part of the
West Region, Sales Manager Chris Reich will
oversee the North West team.

Bill ZumMallen has joined IEWC as the
Information Services Director. In this role,
Bill will drive the efforts to better use technology to reduce cost, grow business and increase
customer satisfaction. Bill’s education
includes ‘old school’ programming languages
and completing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. When not at work, Bill enjoys the outdoors, reading,
cooking and traveling. He will be celebrating his 25th
anniversary with his wife in December, with whom he has

Dan Turcotte in his new role as
Account Representative will be
