The following historical swords have been reported stolen on the evening of 1 August 2011 from a
private collection in Bedfordview.
1. Medieval Broad Swords with spirally twisted horizontal quillons with button terminals.
2. Early Broad Sword of German Landsknecht type.
3. Large Rapier with very large chiselled steel hilt and flattened bar quillons (all pierced and
chiselled). The pommel chiselled with faces and
4. Broad Sword with cruciform hilt decorated with mythological scenes.
Please circulate this notification to raise awareness of these missing swords.
