AUCTION
CATALOG
APRIL 1 – 8 , 2013
st
th
introduction
Dear Friends,
Over the years, I have often spoken about the compassion and goodness that characterize our school
community. This Online Auction Catalog offers tangible proof that these are attributes put into
practice.
The hundreds of items presented here spring from letters, phone calls and face to face conversations
with trustees, administrators, faculty, parents, students, and alumni. When asked, they readily
and gladly gave their time and talents to create the offerings in the pages that follow. In doing so,
they have helped build the many facets of the 2013 Belle Époque Gala. These efforts aid ASP’s
Excellence Fund, which provides the means to offer innovative programming, teaching technology,
and professional development throughout the year.
This year’s Gala consists of two phases: an online auction to be held between April 1-8; and an
elegant evening with dinner, entertainment, and live and silent auctions on April 13 at Paris’ famed
Pré Catelan.
Look through this Online Auction Catalog for one-of-a-kind classes, tours, vacation homes,
and unique services made possible thanks to the goodwill of our ASP community. Note, too, the
generosity of the companies whose donations in areas such as fashion, beauty, and travel represent
some of France’s finest brands.
Nearly 60 parent volunteers spent countless hours to create the special events that surround our
Gala. With thanks and the full measure of enthusiasm, I ask you to please bid on the products and
services featured here that have been so graciously provided to benefit our school. Bid generously
and bid often.
There’s something for every member of the family in these pages.
I’ll see you Saturday, April 13th.
All good wishes,
Mark E. Ulfers
