temperature at - 2700 Kelvin, 4500 Kelvin and 6000 Kelvin.
We recommend using the following
points as a guide to choosing:
1. People with Cataracts, Corneal problems,
Albinism and those who are very glare
sensitive may benefit from 2700K.
2. Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy and most other retinal
problems, Optic Atrophy, etc. may benefit from 4500K.
3. Retinitis Pigmentosa, Glaucoma, Marfan's Syndrome and those with
severe retinal detachments may benefit from 6000K.
Infekt-Protect
Infekt-Protect is the new antimicrobial material for Ökolux Plus Mobil,
Ökolux Plus and Twin Lux.
Infekt-Protect employs ionic silver to inhibit the growth of a wide range
of harmful micro-organisms. The silver ions
continuously migrate to the surface where they
suppress microbial growth and the microbes die.
This activity provides protection 24 hours a day,
7 days a week throughout the normal life span of the product.
ÖKOLUX PLUS - Easy Battery Change
ÖKOLUX plus stand magnifiers now have an improved battery change
mechanism. The cover is firmly connected to
the body through a hinge and the modified
screw allows for a more defined open and
close mechanism. It is not necessary to
remove or reinsert the cover. Furthermore the rounded edge of the leg
makes it easier to go over the edge of a book when reading.
