PARTNERSHIP PROPOSAL
2014 SUPERBIKE EVO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
TEAM GUIDE
Our team has been funded in 2003 and its first debut was in the MotoGP World Championship in the 125 cc
class with one rider.
As for the next racing seasons, we have developed into a two rider team, and continued our career in the 125
cc for two more years, then both in 125 cc and 250 cc, scoring valuable results.
We have closed the 2006 season as the best private team in the championship. Along our constant rider Imre
Toth junior, we have successfully contracted the ex world champion italian rider Roberto Locatelli, or Hector
Barbera, who presently rides in the big category called the MotoGP category, together with Mattia Pasini.
All three riders have brought to the team more than 20 podiums and made the team proud of these excellent
results. The italian rider Pasini has scored the highest points for our team, stepping up on the first rank. This
has been the team’s first race win.
In 2010 the team decided not to participate in the new Moto2 category, being a new established category.
This was the moment when the team has started it’s career in the World Superbike Championship, in the
SuperSport 600 category this being a very competitive category, also very frequent in the media, TV, and
other publications. More then that, it turned out to be more broadcasted in Hungary then the MotoGP series.
In Hungary it is mostly broadcasted on the Eurosport with hungarian commentator, channel that is available
in 90% of the households.
In 2010 we have been competing with one rider, however we have quickly contracted a second rider for the
2011 season. In 2012 we have finished the season as the 10th best team in the series, which the we are very
proud of, having into consideration the hard work invested by all of us.
In 2013 the organisers have brought in a new rule, called the 8 seal rule. This meant that all teams copeting in
the champioship were allowed to use only 8 engines per rider per season, all engines sealed by the FIM. This
would have meant a smaller difference between the small budgeted teams and the other teams, who could
afford to change to new engines after each race.
Because of this new rule, we have had to increase in technical develpoment in order to get the best results
possible during the championship.
Despite the above mentioned hard times, in 2012 we have almost stepd on the podium with tallented rider
Imre Toth, however we could only finish on the 4th place.
The second rider of the team Balazs Nemet has reached the best result as 7th place in the italian race of Imola.
In 2013, the Danish-born Alex Schacht was Imre’s team-mate, who was in the Superstock 600 class compound
4. has been placed in 2012.
The year of 2014 will be a new challenge for us, as our team was awarded the honor to have accepted the
entries in the two most prestigious category: Superbike and EVO both. Now we have to start of two Hungarian
riders in this year in the Superbike World Championship.
IMRE TOTH
Imre Toth our nation’s greatest rider who started his
career when he was almost 5 years old. He rode his first
motorbike in 1991, a 50cc automatic transmision bike,
during a national championship, where he won his first
race without any problems. In 1992 same category,
however now he steped on the podium at the end of the
entire championship. In 1993 and the next two years he
obtained the title of Hungarian Champion, however in the
manual transmision category.
In 1997 he finished 2nd overall at the Adria Alps Cup, and
at the end of 1998 year he was declared the youngest
hungarian champion in 125cc.
In 1999 he finished 2nd overall in the hungarian
championship, 5th in the german championship. In the
next year he also was present at some of the European
Championship in order to get some more experience.
He took part in his first world championship series in
2002, where he could finish 15 races out of 16. He scored
his first point for its team R R Team Hungary in 2004. In
2007 he steped up in the 250 category class, where he
scores many points right in the first year. In 2008 hae
scores points in the last five race. His best position in 2009
was the 9th at the french event in Le Mans.
In 2010 he started racing in the World Superbike
Championship in the Supersport category where he
scores many points, and in 2011 he finishes the 19th in
the overall. 2012 year seemd to be a very difficult year,
with many technical problems, however the italian race in
Monza has brought him the 4th place, only one step away
from the podium.
In 2013 Imre Toth will compete for Racing Team Toth in
the Supersport category on a factory spec Honda bike.
In 2014 will also in Team Toth, with a new manufacturer,
which is the BMW in Superbike category.
PETER SEBESTYEN
Peter is one of the most talented riders in the coutry, who proved his aptitude many times, even in participating in one
of the most known series, the MotoGP.
He started his career at the age of 6, first riding an automatic
child motorbike, something that he enjoyed very much. He
started his trainings and competitions on the 125 cc bikes,
category present in the MotoGP as well.
In 2005 he started competing in the Alps Adria International
Championship in the 125 cc. Than came the big change, he
has been asked to compete in the Red Bull Rookies Cup. The
Red Bull Rookies Cup is an international talent seeker series,
that gives high oportunities to young riders.
His name has become known during the years, scoring great
results in different championship series like Alps Adria, and
other well known series.
In 2010 he started competing under the colours of Right
Guard Racing Team in some of the spanish and italian
championship races, also in MotGP 125cc as wild card.
In 2011 he gained experince in the MotoGP 125 cc category under the colours of team Caretta
Technology, and at the end of that year he finished the Valencian race the 18th with Matteoni Racing
team.
In 2013 the Superbike World Championship organised the European Junior Cup series where Peter
finished 6th in the overall, and on podium in Magny Cours.
2014 will be a big step for him, because he will going in 1000cc, in the Superbike EVO class.
THE SERIES
The highest category in Superbike series racebikes are
competing with each other, the legal changes allowed
modifications to the exhaust system ,for the engine control ,
for the suspension, limited to the brakes and some part of the
bikes. This rules included the fantastic race experience, where
the best riders are competing with the best technology on the
highest level.
