From I-30 take Eastchase Parkway exit. Go South. Name
eventually changes to Green Oaks. Turn right at
Pleasant Ridge which is a major intersection. Go several
blocks to make right turn right past an elementary school
(Poly Webb). Poly Webb dead ends at Shorewood. Turn
left on Shorewood and turn right at second street which is
entrance to Enchanted Lakes Subdivision. Take first left
which is Lake Tahoe. We're in first block on the right, 3608.

Diving at no charge as an introduction to the
facility and the sport of Dock Diving!

DFWMGRC Meeting

Present: A quorum was present for this meeting.
Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by David Brown, President.
Presentation: “I Want Puppies, Tips and Techniques to Maximize Your Breeding Success” was presented by Kirk Esmond, DVM
Josey Ranch Pet Hospital
Business Meeting began at 8:25 p.m.
A motion to accept the minutes as they appeared in the newsletter was approved and seconded.
Reports:
Shari Degan reported March 1st was the deadline for dues. Past members, who had not been active in the club in several years, had
sent in dues however she contacted them and explained that a new application would have to be re-submitted. She has not heard
back from those individuals.
Treasurer’s report- Linda Miller reported balance. She is currently working on switching over the accounts as the new treasurer.
Agility Report- Shari Degan reported that the next Agility show would be help the May 3-5 at Watt Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
Volunteers will be compensated for the $10 parking fee and they will be able to participate in the workers raffle.
Sherri Farmer reported that the next field event will be a WC/WCX on Memorial Day weekend. In 2014 the hunt test will be moved to
the last weekend in October.
2013 March Specialty- Kathy Felix reported that the March Specialty is next Friday, March 22nd. They are pleased with the entry
numbers. 2013 National Specialty merchandise will be present for sale and also for people to see how the sizes run. The Quilt will be
present and participants will have the ability to purchase the raffle tickets for the quilt.
Ann Burke- reported the Silent Auction items looking great. This year there will also be a raffle for an IPAD mini. Tickets will be $5
each for that. She needs volunteers to help run the raffle table. All volunteers will receive a free lunch.
Dawn Morrill- reported on general raffle. She thanked everyone for their generosity.
2014 Specialty Report- Patti Caldwell reported that she had the contracts ready for the judges and both judges have agreed to judge.
David Brown- Committee chairs are needed and will be discussed at the next board meeting in April. If anyone is interested in
volunteering please contact David for more information on where help is needed.
2013 National Report- Sherri Farmer stated the free Barbeque dinner at the Tailgating Party Friday night has been confirmed. Hertz
rental car will be providing discounts. Cars may be picked up at DFW airport or in Wichita Falls, Texas. New items on Hospitality
section are being updated frequently.
Currently 1800 Rooms Nights have been booked.
Cathy Meddaugh reported that 166 grooming spaces have been sold.
David Brown reported for Barbara Brown. She has acquired a local vendor that will be selling reasonably priced Western attire.
Shari Curran asked for suggestions of future speakers and places to meet. Everyone liked Central Market that attended however we
are only able to use that once a quarter.
The motion was adjourned at 9:02
