Once upon a time...
Stratovarius made their first tour on 1994, after releasing their 3rd album
Dreamspace. Their tour headed only to Japan where they had 4 shows and
they felt that they should have some merchandise to sell there so they
printed Dreamspace cover-t-shirts with Japanese Tourdates (all 4) printed
on the backside. That was the beginning of our Stratovarius Merchandising.
2004 will be our 10th year in the merchandise business!!!
Soon after that became Fourth Dimension album and the same pattern
repeated. One T-shirt motiv with the cover of the album on front and tourdates (this time more than 4) on back. We can say that Stratovarius Merchandising took a giant step forward on 1995 when Jörg Michael became
the member of Stratovarius. Not only did he bring his unique and talented
musicianmanship to the band, but also his vast experties on merchandise
business. And from the Episode album on, we've had the pleasure of selling very high quality merchandise with a different motivs.
We've had different kind of products over the years and not all of them
have been shirts. Neclases, rings, caps, cups, stickers, lighters etc. have
been a part of our Merchandise line and the future is open for new products. Let's see what kind of merchandise we will bring to you in the future.

Our first webshop saw the light of day on 1998 and in the beginning of
2003 we released our latest version of Stratoshop and E-kauppa. We
have brought the shopping over Internet as easy as possible and we have
received many thanks from you. Many of you have said that the shops are
very easy to use and we agree. Webshops should be easy. Put the products

YOU HAVE WEBSHOPS, SO WHY THIS CATALOG?
Over the period of times, we have learned that even though both our webshops Stratoshop (International) and E-kauppa (fans who live in Finland)
are very secure and trusted and easy to use, there still are people who
feel that internet shopping is not for them and they don't feel comfortable
of giving their personal information over the internet. To those fans we
haven't had anything to offer. Until now. Now all the fans who just don't
trust the internet as a shopping scene, can do some Stratovarius Merchandise shopping with this Merchandise Catalog.
Another target audience are the fans, who for some reason can't access
either Stratoshop or E-kauppa at all. All the malice and negativeness
happening in the internet lately (worms, viruses etc.) have driven corporations to restrict their internet accesses and unfortunately those restrictions sometimes effects the websites such as Stratoshop and E-kauppa
that have absolutely nothing to do with the issues. Seems that our 128-bit
ssl-encryption is too much for some configurations and therefore our shops
are unaccessible for some. Now those fans can also do Stratovarius Merchandise shopping with this Merchandise Catalog.
WILL THIS CATALOG BE UPDATED?
Frequently. We will use a version number in the filename so you should
always check for the latest catalog version from www.stratovarius.com.
Whenever a product is sold-out we try to update the catalog and put it
online. Also when we get new merchandise, we will update the catalog and
put it online.
