Questions
What type of camera system is best for you? Cabled or wireless?
– A cabled system produces a clear image at all times and 50 feet of cable are
included with every system sold. A single 12-36V input is required (for the
monitor).
– A wireless system is easier to install (where routing the cables would be
complicated). The wireless system has a range varying between 125 feet
(unobstructed) and 60 feet (where obstructions are present). Two 12-36V
inputs are required to connect the camera and the monitor. Operates using
the 2.4 GHz frequency.
What about the cameras?
– The cameras provide visibility over 130 degrees to improve the field of
view. The camera view is reversible or not depending on the surveillance
zone. Day images are produced in full colour whereas night images are in
black & white. Even in total darkness, view quality is excellent! These industrial-grade cameras are cased in a robust aluminum housing. They are designed for outdoor use and are therefore waterproof and freezeproof to -20°
C. The “Auto-Shutter” model uses a retracting panel to protect the lens from
dirt when the monitor is shut off. Resolution of 720 x 480. Includes a
mounting bracket.

Is installing the system difficult?
– No. However, some basic knowledge is required. An inadequate installation could damage the equipment and void the warranty!
A person with a certain degree of manual skills will take between 3 and 4
hours to install the system. It is important to select the right supply wires to
connect the system to the vehicle. Usually, an effective ground and a 12-36V
supply wire are connected to the accessory or ignition position of the ignition system. The wiring diagram is clearly explained in the monitor manual,
available only in English. Therefore, in summary, supply connection +
mounting of the monitor and camera + wiring = successful installation!

are operational in total darkness and are fully weather resistant!
– Our cameras and monitors operate at higher resolutions than others available on the market. We supply 7” monitors whereas 5” monitors are the
