2016 School Show 'ELEMENTS'
From The Big Bang through a frozen
landscape, dripping water, to the high
seas, we travel over muddy, fertile Earth.
We take to the air, get blown around and
find ourselves 'Too Darn Hot' with fires
galore.
80 cast members, many costumes, lots of
twists and turns and fun for the whole
family.








Billy Fury was Britain's own Elvis - & the girls
loved him!.
Each performance will consist of different
adult and youth Drama Groups from
throughout the District performing one-act
plays of their choice. Each session will
usually include two or three different plays
while the last evening will include special
entertainment and the presentation of awards.
Now 31 years after his sad death, his own
band the original FURYS TORNADOS
re-play live his timeless hits -"Last Night Was
Made For Love", "I Will", "Jealousy",
"Halfway To Paradise" & many, many more.

Once again, Norfolk’s very own Nigel
‘boy’ Syer and Olly Day are returning to the
Princess Theatre with their ‘All New’
Summer Laughter Show. With lots of laughs,
plenty of music and magic along with some
comedy songs, it’s a show not to be
missed.






This incredible live show celebrates the rich history of Ireland and the art of Irish dance, from
the disciplined Celtic Step to the sensual, ancient Sean Nos dance style.
Having toured since 2007, The Floyd Effect
has become rightly renowned for the
remarkable accuracy with which it performs
the iconic music of Pink Floyd. All of the
band’s members are top quality musicians
with pedigrees that stretch across all
manner of musical genres, and they
faithfully recreate the music and intensity of
a Pink Floyd concert without recourse to
backing tracks, racks of computers, or other

The Searchers remarkable career continues.
With such classic hits as, Sweets For My
Sweet; Needles and Pins; Don’t Throw Your
Love Away; Sugar and Spice and When
You Walk In The Room, they have
contributed enormously in establishing the
UK as the world’s leading nation in the
music industry. There is no doubt that the
decade that gave us The Beatles as well as
The Searchers and many others was very
special and will go down in history as
being the most imaginative period of music
creativity and expression.





This really is about performance. And Navi
certainly delivers on that. From the smooth
opener of Smooth Criminal, it is a pleasant
journey through Jackson’s back catalogue
stopping at many of his classic albums.
The second half is a homage to the Jackson
Five with ABC and I Want You Back,
before launching into classics such as
Thriller, You Are Not Alone and final hit
Man in the Mirror.






Bye Bye Baby takes you back in time on a
musical journey through the career of
Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, whose
songs graced such films as The Deer
Hunter, Dirty Dancing and Grease.
Marty Wilde is an English singer and
songwriter. He was among the first
generation of British pop stars to emulate
American rock and roll, and is the father of
pop singers Ricky Wilde, Kim Wilde and
Roxanne Wilde.



A chance to see live on stage, one of the
only performing Rock'n'Roll Pioneers in the
world today.



Probably the most entertaining group to come out of the 60’s and 70’s. Their musicianship,
their harmonies and of course their humour makes them what their peers call them ‘The
Guvnors’. They are supremely talented, a showbiz phenomenon and the best tonic the
N.H.S. could give the population. They are the only group to have toured with the Beatles
and twice with the Rolling Stones.





Look out for the biggest loo roll ever on
stage in this GIANT of a children’s musical.
The villagers living in the town below the
Giant’s house had better watch out, that loo
roll has gone bouncing down the hill and
straight towards them! Luckily, the townsfolk
find lots of uses for runaway loo paper –
one sheet provides a huge canvas for an
artist, a tailor uses another to fill her shop
with paper pants and a school class makes
a huge dart that can fly.







The spirit of the Man in Black is alive and
‘kicking like a mule’ with an outstanding
celebration of the iconic legend by the
Carter/Cash endorsed Johnny Cash
Roadshow.
This is gold standard, fire-cracking
entertainment from the first note, delivering
an inspired set of cherished numbers with
impeccable rhythmic pace.






this spoils the enjoyment of other people.

•We welcome both seeing and hearing
guide dogs. A bowl of water can be

for the hard of hearing has been
installed for use with or without a hearing

•To enhance your safety and comfort, we
require patrons in wheelchairs to book a
designated wheelchair space. A dedicated
number of seats and a companion are
integrated within the main body of the
seating. A maximum of 6 wheelchairs can
be accommodated per event at The
Princess Theatre.
•2 wheelchairs are available for use on
site. Please inform the box office when
booking.
•To help us ensure we meet your needs,
please be aware that the area of the
wheelchair space measures 36” wide
maximum. Should your wheelchair not fit
into this space, please contact the box

•Unfortunately electric scooters cannot be
accomodated within the auditorium.
 There are no lifts in the
building.

Gift vouchers are available in £10.00
denominations and redeemable against any
show at The Princess Theatre. Gift vouchers
have no expiry date.
Ticket prices will vary depending on the
show. Group/party prices may be
introduced according to the policy of the
visiting company. ‘Restricted view’ seats will
count as a concession.

Car parking is situated behind The Princess
Theatre. Charges apply from 8am to 6pm
(at time of printing) including Blue Badge
holders.


All toilet facilities are situated on the ground
floor.
Where indicated, concessions are
available on our top prices for children
(anyone aged 14 and below), senior
citizens, students, wheelchair users and
members of the forces. Identification may
be required.

Proof of age may be required for (12A),
(15) and (18) films. The management has
the right to refuse entry at any time. Please
visit www.bbfc.co.uk for clarification of
these certificates.
Please note when booking seats upstairs
that we do not currently have a lift.


Supporting acts are regularly used by
producers to start a show and warm up the
audience before the main act. The Princess
Theatre does not know if support acts will
be used at the time of printing this brochure.
Patrons are therefore advised that support
acts may be used at the discretion of the
producing management. For further
information patrons may enquire at the box
office on the afternoon of the performance.

Babes in arms (children aged 2 years and
under) will be admitted free of charge to all
live shows but must sit on an adult’s lap.
Parents and/or supervisors are responsible
for supervising children in their care at all
times. All other children require their own
tickets at full price, if no child concessions
are available. For cinema, babes in arms
will only be allowed entry to (U) and (PG)
rated films.
•Baby changing facilities are available.

As the theatre only has a limited supply of
booster cushions, parents are
welcome to bring their own when
accompanying children to see a show.
