SANDEE BONITA
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Van Nuys California, this sassy
Salvadorian-American has made her mark in the city of Las Vegas.
Upon arriving in Sin City in 2007, Sandee Bonita joined the promotions
team for a local radio station where she was quickly promoted to an onair position focusing on Latino Hip-Hop. Her positive energy and bubbly
personality led to her being cast on a local entertainment television show.
Mastering the cameras came naturally, moving her into a host position
on the show. Her “Spanglish” and on-screen charisma captivated viewers
and led to her 2011 transition to one of the most respected and
recognized radio stations (98.5 KLUC) in Las Vegas.
Sandee’s willingness to give back to the Las Vegas community fits in perfectly with her personal values, and
she has also taken on the title of Public Service Director. Her hard work, determination, and support for the
community have been the keys to her success. Sandee maintains constant communication with her fans

BOJO ACKAH
Robert “Bojo” Ackah was raised in Southern California and graduated
from Westlake High School in 1996.
An athletic scholarship brought Bojo to UNLV to play soccer in 1997, where
he graduated in 2003 with a Liberal Arts degree in Communication and
a minor in Sociology.
Bojo began his radio career in 2001, and joined 98.5 KLUC in March of
2006, where he has been an asset to the on-air staff, willing and capable
to work any air shift, remote, event, etc, set before him. Bojo’s vibrant
and outgoing personality are a natural fit at promotional and community
events.

Mitch Adkinson
My story starts with me growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I was raised
with strong artistic values within a whole family of artists. My adventurous
spirit led to me moving to Las Vegas. By experiencing multiple city cultures, I
bring a fresh, abstract but sophisticated take to my creations. I am a founding member of the Las Vegas Fashion Design Council and am proud of my
work launched at our first event at The World Market Center. My collection
was a line of men’s wear with geometrical cut work shirts and tailored pants.
I am always excited to bring my creations to life in this great and exciting
world.
Carlos Bruce
Carlos Bruce is an instructor at UNLV’s Continuing Education Program for
Fashion. He transforms his artistry & tattoo style into fashion - incorporating
this style into multiple design elements, particularly fabric designs. The end
results are custom, one-of-a-kind pieces, with an original, urban street, highclass look.
Maria Bruce
Maria Bruce is the owner of MBruce Designs and also a Fashion Textile
Instructor at UNLV and a member of the Nevada Association of Design
(NAFD).
MBruce Designs in Las Vegas, NV is a private business established in 2007
and incorporated in Nevada. Services include, professional Seamstress,
Patternmaker, Swimwear, Dressmaker, and Samplemaker. Additionally,
MBruce Designs has manufactured costumes as a Station Casinos vendor.
Maria contracted with NAFD in 2005 and was employed by UNLV to teach
sewing, patterns, alterations, and dressmaking for the Fashion Design Certificate Program. Maria is the lead textile instructor, and is the Co-Chair for the
NAFD-LV Advisory Board.
Maria is an accomplished fashion designer who has showcased her fashions
in runway shows inside the MGM Tabu, Caesars Palace, Mirage Revolution,
Empire Ballroom, Planet Hollywood, ICE, LV Fashion Week, among others,
and was previously showcased in the Review Journal.

Tiffany M. Lewis
Mirror Image Textiles (MI) was founded by Tiffany Michelle Sophia Lewis in
2013 with the opening of MI Shop here in Las Vegas’ historic Art District,
18b. The Milwaukee native’s vision of the brand MI was based on custom
work, made special to fit the lifestyles of clients, and making custom work
affordable to the individual.
The vintage, military, reconstructed & handmade couture pieces are all
one-of-a kind. The brand is being built around men’s and women’s apparel
with an eclectic style contrary to the typical. MI Shop now offers custom,
ready-made and styling for wardrobe and events. MI collections are soon
to be available online as well.
Aldo Mencatto
I am a self-taught fashion designer, through my sensibility and creative moment I live the experience of my style inside my soul. I grew up in a small
village in the countryside of Brazil and have been designing fashion since I
was 6 years old – starting with banana leaves and fabric bags.
When designing I do not think of the clothes as much as I focus on the
people that will wear them on the cat walk, on the streets, places and parties. The success of a collection is much more involved with human energy
rather than the clothes themselves. The essence of my job is to bring to life
the exuberance of contemporary women with professional, personal and
emotional independence. I like a lot of mixed fabrics, cut-outs, textures,
sequins. I thank God every day for this gift and am fortunate to have had
many opportunities in Brazil and now the United States.
Wanda Merritt
Las Vegas Fashion Designer, Wanda Potter-Merritt is a Native Nevadan. As
a young girl, Wanda had aspirations of becoming a Fashion Designer; however Las Vegas was not a city with very many opportunities in the fashion
industry. Therefore, Wanda did not follow the path of the traditional designer, she instead earned a Degree in Business.
Wanda owns and operates a Tailoring and Custom Design Boutique, where
she designs and creates custom evening gowns. Wanda’s aesthetic is
classic sophistication; her designs blend styles from the past with modern
fashion. A current member of the Las Vegas Fashion Design Council,
Wanda was recently selected by Ninteenth Amendment fashion funding
organization as an emerging designer.

Glenn Wright
Glenn C. Wright, Master Tailor, Fashion Designer, Pattern Maker, and Fashion
Motivator has devoted over three decades developing, maturing, and refining
his talents and abilities in garment construction and fashion design. Glenn has
studied several cultures of tailoring and has mastered just about every aspect of
designing and making quality clothing.
Knowing that no matter how narrow or how extensive one’s wardrobe is, there
is always at least one shirt, tie, dress or other piece that every time that piece is
worn, it makes you stand taller, feel stronger, and be more confident. Glenn calls
that “Garment Empowerment.” With this in mind Glenn creates each and every
garment with the intent on delivering an empowering experience to its owner.
This concept is called Just The Wright Look, which is dedicated to creating oneof-a-kind garments that meticulously accent one’s individuality — garments that
express your disposition, your moods, and your attitude. To dress and look your
best actually helps you to feel and be your best.

Ricardo Giron has stayed true to his roots. Currently in Las Vegas, Giron
grew up in the border town of El Paso Texas. A love and respect for
multiple eras’ sounds provided him with the basics of an eclectic diet of
pure Soulful, Jacking, Banging, Deep, Hard and Electro beats, that now
provide a base to his mix sets.

Kamu Brede
Aloha! My name is Kamu Brede originally from Honolulu, HI. I moved to
Vegas 3 years ago to pursue my music career. In Hawaii, I sang in several
competitions, including the locally televised Hawaii Stars where I finished
as the runner-up based on viewers calling in and voting.
Here in Vegas, I’m currently participating in a monthly competition in
which I just won the past month’s finals. Prior to that, I won a competition
that lasted for twelve consecutive weeks.
I enjoy performing a huge repertoire of songs - everything from Top 40,
R&B, Oldies, 80’s, 90’s, Contemporary Pop, and Rock & Roll. Fun fact: I am
the second cousin of Keanu Reeves and take inspiration from his success.
I’m very thankful and blessed to have this talent given to me and I thank
God for opening up opportunities and venues for me to share my blessing
to others. Music has inspired me in so many ways and I want to share that
with people all around the world.

Silversage
Silversage was created in late 2013 when long time friends Chris Kennedy
and Austin Perry met up to discuss starting a rock project in their hometown of Las Vegas, NV. Kennedy was in the midst of a solo country career
and Perry was freelancing throughout Las Vegas, along with playing for a
country band based out of Nashville. When work started to slow down out
in Nashville for Perry, he decided to call up long time friend and singer songwriter Chris Kennedy to approach him about fronting and co-founding a
rock group.
Kennedy was excited by the proposition and the beginnings of Silversage
began to take shape. Kennedy and Perry now found themselves in need
of both a bass player and a acoustic guitarist/keyboard player. With the
help of a colleague, Kennedy and Perry were put in touch with the talented
Trujillo brothers. Kennedy and Perry were impressed with both the solid
melodic bass playing of Elias Trujillo and the high energy, multi-talented
acoustic guitar/keyboard playing of Jon Trujillo, during their first jam session.
Both Elias and Jon would soon after officially join the band. With the line up
intact, Silversage was born. The name stems from the band’s home state
of Nevada, as the band wants to stay true to their roots no matter how far
their music takes them.
Jesse Pino
Singer/songwriter Jesse Pino is no stranger to the music scene. The Vegas
native musician/martial arts instructor first started making music seriously in
1998-99. At age 15 he formed the melodic punk band Nadaclue. Heavily inspired by the bands of Fat Wreck Chords and Epitaph, they gained a
fair amount of popularity capturing kids with their fast, driven beats, and
hook-laden song writing with solid harmonies.
Soon after Nadaclue’s short-lived 2 year span, Pino spent the next 10 years
on guitar and backup vocals for Las Vegas’ much-loved 5-piece rock band
Left Standing. Sharing the stage with his two older brothers, Chris and Danny
Pino, Left Standing served up a welcome dose of alternative electric rock as
well as incredible acoustic sets.
In 2010, Jesse decided to step out on his own and pursue his own creativity. Comfortable with a full band backing him, or just an acoustic guitar in
hand, he continues to craft his own signature blend, entering each arena
with a sound reminiscent of Dan Andriano, Dave Hause, and musical idol
Joey Cape. Pino released The Burn EP in 2011 and is currently writing music
for his first full length album.

Silent Auction
Each silent auction item has a minimum bid and a minimum incremental amount stated
on the bid sheet. Write your name and telephone number next to the pre-printed auction
increment amount on the bid sheet for the item you wish to bid. Goodwill of Southern Nevada
Community Affairs Team will be the final judge of the successful bidder. By bidding, you are
stating that you are ready and willing to purchase an item for your bid amount. If your bid is
the highest and proclaimed the winner, you have agreed to pay the amount of your bid in
accordance with our rules. The winning bid is final and non-retractable. Once the highest bid
is proclaimed, the winner has entered into a legally binding contract.
Disputes
All guests are expected to conduct business with the honor system in mind. If a situation
arises where you are in disagreement with the outcome, the Goodwill of Southern Nevada
Community Affairs & Donation Acquisition Director will mediate to resolve the dispute.
Payment
Payment is due upon close of auctionww. The cashier will accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and
American Express as payment. All sales are final and there will be no refunds or exchanges
on any items.
Silent Auction Items
All items are generously donated and are sold “as is.” This disclaimer applies to the value,
quality and condition of all auction items. All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds on
auction items are permitted. Some items may have restrictions or may have additional costs
associated with them. Any such restrictions or additional costs are stated on the item bid
sheets or item certificates; they cannot be changed and are the responsibility of the auction
item winner. Your payment and receipt of auction items releases Goodwill of Southern
Nevada, its officers, directors and agents from any and all claims relating to fitness, quality,
value and merchantability of auction items. If you have any questions, please ask before
placing your bid.
Tax Deductibility
Donations to Goodwill of Southern Nevada are tax deductible. You may be able to deduct
a portion of your auction item payments if the purchase prices are greater than the fair
market value of the goods and services you receive. Goodwill of Southern Nevada makes no
representation or warranty with respect to the auction item values established by the prize
donors. Please consult your personal tax advisor if you have any questions.
Take It With You
Congratulations on being the highest bidder! We ask that you take all your prizes with you
when you leave. If you have problems transporting your items home, due to the size or
quantity of your winnings, let us know, and we will be more than happy to help you out!
