GENERAL INFORMATION Letter from our Festival Chair: On behalf of the Board of Directors, our sponsors and the rest of the Mayfest family, welcome to the 44th Annual Tulsa International Mayfest! During your visit to the festival we invite you to visit one of our three indoor galleries: •Our Youth Art Gallery, located in the PAC, features amazing art from some of the most talented art students in Tulsa. •Our newest gallery, the Pop Music Art Gallery features art from students whose pieces were inspired by Peter Max, Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. •The Invitational Gallery, my personal favorite, not only features works from over 80 local artists, but also is where you can view and purchase this year’s original poster artwork “Namid: Star Dancer” created by the talented Marjorie Atwood. Additionally, we are proud to announce that we have over 120 Visual Artists this year. Several have chosen to participate in our “Under $200 Program” so there should be something affordable for everyone. For the young art collectors, we are pleased to announce we will again be offering Art Beginnings. For only $5, budding young art collectors can choose a piece of art to start their very own collections. This tent will be located in KidZone, a perfect place for families who come to Mayfest. With more than 25 food vendors there will be tempting tastes available for every palate! Stimulate your auditory senses with one of our three music stages which are sure to offer something for your musical tastes.
