large or small functions: Herrenhausen
Palace is the ideal venue for events of all
kinds. The Palace has a choice of rooms
in all sizes, from a small meeting room to a
large banquet hall.
Highly diverse and unusual locations have earned the state capital a reputation
as an excellent congress venue. Visitors to conferences are spoilt for choice
– from the newly rebuilt Herrenhausen Palace to Hannover Airport, unique

Hannover exhibition grounds have been an
international magnet for decades, providing
a showcase for flagship fairs. Even when
there is no trade fair on, event organisers
appreciate them as the perfect place for
congresses and corporate events. This multifunctional miracle, consisting of 28 halls
and pavilions and prizewinning Convention
Center, is available all year round.
Hannover Congress Centrum – HCC
HCC is the congress address with the
longest tradition in the state capital, and
combines ultra-modern event technology with masses of historical atmosphere. The building complex includes
four multifunctional halls, seven conference rooms and 30 meeting rooms.
A very big plus is its city centre location directly adjacent to the leafy Stadtpark.

Located only a few minutes away from the
exhibition grounds, this major conference
centre also lies right on the edge of a nature
conservation area. The four-star designer
hotel has 280 beds, a large wellness area,
more than 20 conference and banqueting
rooms, as well as a congress hall. There is
also a very cosy brewery restaurant with a
beer garden on the site.
As a heritage site of national importance
and with direct access to the Royal Gardens, the Gallery is ideal for top class
events. The ceiling of the grand hall is
of major art-historical importance and
unique in Germany in terms of its design
and size. Other unique and exquisite locations can be found in the immediate vicinity of the Gallery.

Hannover’s water tower was built between
1908 and 1911 and is the ideal place for
an occasion in a very special atmosphere.
In addition to the old industrial hall with
space for 2,500 people and high-tech
equipment, there are further event levels
like the lounge for events with up to 600
people as well as an outdoor area with
seats for 700 persons.
GOP Varieté Theatre
GOP is one of the best known variety
theatres and provides a magical venue
for conferences and exclusive events. If
required, exciting show elements can be
combined with sophisticated catering in
individual package deals. The comfortable seating (for up to 320) and pleasantly
air-conditioned space ensure a relaxed
and comfortable atmosphere.
This exceptional event centre has a choice
of five different rooms, ranging from the
Studio (15 m²) to the Rüdenberg Room
(150 m²), which provide attractive settings for diverse events of between 6 and
130 people. It can be hired for meetings,
press conferences, congresses, conventions, workshops, concerts, festivals and
parties.
The multi-towered silhouette dominates
the skyline for miles around – Marienburg
Castle near Pattensen is one of the most
important neo-Gothic buildings in Germany.
The horse stables and coach house have
now been converted into atmospheric restaurant and event rooms in the style of an
historic bistro. The architecture in the romantic courtyard is also a special highlight.

Old Town Hall
The Old Town Hall together with the adjacent Market Church, is part of the most
southerly major ensemble of North German
brick Gothic architecture. Built from 1410
onwards, it was restored to its original condition in the 19th century. Today, the light
and airy atrium and the multifunctional hall
provide exclusive venues for many different
kinds of event.

Ernst August restaurant and microbrewery is a very special location right in the
centre of Hannover and is highly recommended as a venue for conferences, office parties, anniversaries and presentations. It has spacious rooms that can hold
up to 275 guests as well as an attractive
outdoor area.

The Grossgoltern Estate evolved out of a
manor estate whose roots go right back to
the Middle Ages. The Old Machine Hall, the

The Old Town
Hannover is a capital city set among green surroundings; it is famous for its
magnificent opportunities for recreation right on the verge of the city centre. You
can go jogging or inline skating through the unspoilt city forest, the Eilenriede, or
around the shores of Maschsee Lake. You can stroll through parks and gardens,
or through the picturesque Old Town. In the central shopping area you can enjoy

in the Market Hall or in top-class restaurants. The Flea Market on the banks of

Great Garden, one of Europe’s most important baroque gardens, a delightful place

the Festive Weekend at Lake Steinhude is a popular event that takes place against
a fantastic backcloth of illuminated boats, with an aerial fireworks display and
