In the past several years, Fritz and Jeanne have joined their forces scientifically in a research program aimed at developing solar photoconversion that uses earth-abundant and environmentally friendly materials. They have organized and participated in international conferences seeking collaborative scientific efforts to improve the efficiency of solar energy conversion. The McHale lab at WSU has also participated in numerous outreach events to engage fghfg PoSter ConteSt WinnerSfghfg Congratulations to Molly Klingler and Jonathan Gradin, the winners of the 43rd annual Moscow Renaissance Fair poster contest. Two dozen entries were considered by more than 200 voters at BookPeople of Moscow on March 5th and 11 year old Molly’s lovely image of spring together with Jonathan’s graphic design prevailed. The poster is the main advertisement for the fair and the image graces the cover of this program. Molly and Jonathan also shared a $200 prize. Other items are recycled as appropriate. For the past ten years we have composted or recycles 85% of fair detritus.
