2
Strive is voluntary – it’s up to you whether

Strive provides tools and support for you to
learn about your personal health risks – we
all have different health factors and

these determine what our health risks are.

Strive is CNR International’s customised
wellness programme – its design reflects our
values and our vision.
Strive is private and confidential – any
personal information you share stays in
your personal health records and is not
shared with CNR International. You will be
asked to agree that data can be shared with
third parties as part of the Strive programme,
but at no time is your personal information
shared with CNR International.

Strive is available to all permanent
CNR International employees

Strive offers rewards – in fact, you can
earn £160 (122,000 cfa) in the 1st year,
with further rewards in year two.
You then use these credits for wellness-related
expenses.

of your current health – including where you’re doing well and where
you could be at risk and where you could make more improvements.
In addition to the personalised results you’ll see online, you’ll also
receive suggestions for other resources that can provide more
information relevant to your current health and risk profile.
Health data helps determine your risk of
developing a health condition and there
are specific actions you can take to protect
and enhance your health.
Those employees whose results indicate high risk levels will receive
a confidential follow-up call from a Wellness Coach employed by
the third party provider. If you receive a call, this is an opportunity
to discuss your results and suggestions about next steps.

CNR INTERNATIONAL’S FOCUS ON YOUR
HEALTH – WHY IT MAKES SENSE
CNR International is a business – and smart businesses know that they are
more successful with healthy and informed employees. It’s important to
us that you know we care about your health and wellbeing, and that we
are prepared to invest in it. We want to do our part to support a culture of
wellness.
You’ll be responsible for learning what our Strive programme offers and how
you can benefit from participating. Like many things in life, you’ll get out
of the programme what you put into it – your commitment to good health
will enable you to feel better and be more productive at home and at
work. Strive is a programme where we can all win big, by working together.
HOW MUCH DO YOU
REALLY KNOW ABOUT
YOUR HEALTH?
STEP TWO IN THE STRIVE PROGRAMME
IS BIOMETRIC SCREENING
STEP 2
The biometric screening process enhances the
information you provided in step 1
the Health Risk Assessment (HRA), increasing the
personalisation and accuracy of results.
Starting 1st October, Biometric Screening clinics will be held at

As with the HRA, every employee who completes the Biometric screening
will earn £80 (61,000 cfa) in Strive credits.
What happens at the clinic?
When you attend your local clinic, you’ll have the opportunity to meet
with a health professional who will gather biometric information about

STRIVE PROVIDES
SUPPORT WHEN
YOU NEED IT
I
magine you have a health condition that you’ve
been worried about. Wouldn’t it be helpful if a
Wellness Coach called to help you achieve your
wellness-related goals? What if they already had
information about your health so they could give you
specific advice and talk about your issues? The Strive
programme offers this kind of support.
Starting in January 2014 after completion of the HRA
and Biometric Screening, Strive participants whose
results show high risk levels will be able to work with
a third party Wellness Coach to change behaviours
that are contributing to their specific health risks
(e.g., smoking, physical inactivity, unhealthy eating
habits, etc.).
If you receive a call from a Wellness Coach, don’t
worry. It’s good to know what your health challenges
are, but having someone to guide you as you work
to overcome them can be the difference between
sharing knowledge and getting results.
The wellness coaching will take place over the phone
at times convenient to you. These sessions will occur
over several months and will help your long-term health
and changes in lifestyle.
CNR International will not know who is receiving
coaching or why. Like all the other elements of Strive
where personal information is being exchanged, your
health information and your wellness coaching progress
will remain private: between you and your
Wellness Coach.
