Wouldn’t it be helpful if a Wellness Coach called to help you achieve your wellness-related goals? What if they already had information about your health so they could give you specific advice and talk about your issues? The Strive programme offers this kind of support. Starting in January 2014 after completion of the HRA and Biometric Screening, Strive participants whose results show high risk levels will be able to work with a third party Wellness Coach to change behaviours that are contributing to their specific health risks (e.g., smoking, physical inactivity, unhealthy eating habits, etc.). If you receive a call from a Wellness Coach, don’t worry. It’s good to know what your health challenges are, but having someone to guide you as you work to overcome them can be the difference between sharing knowledge and getting results. The wellness coaching will take place over the phone at times convenient to you. These sessions will occur over several months and will help your long-term health and changes in lifestyle. CNR International will not know who is receiving coaching or why.
